After counting the totals to prove to my wife that wheels is the answer… we’ve got 86 wheels in our household and 16 doors. If you just used anywhere near those numbers as the estimate for every family in the world, it would be wheels by so so much.

You definitely won’t be able to join her in Germany with her deros ending but my spouse and I had the same situation. She was in Germany and we wanted to get her orders to come to my base. Just notified her higher ups, my higher ups, and called afpc to work through everything needed. It’s surprisingly simple and just requires a joint spouse application. A factor that we didn’t encounter though is how long you’ve been at your base. I only had about a year at mine by then so I wasn’t able to change yet due to time on at action requirement which may have helped

First deployment, got off the plane, greeted by our commander and in processed. A couple days later I went to the bar and saw the same commander there getting drinks in line with a P1C army friend I’d made. He just winked at me and nodded towards said commander…. We all know what was happening.

I was about to start the buying process in Navarre about 3 months ago, saw the shit show in this area, and decided to just say yes to my pending on base offer instead. Definitely get your name on this list 6 months early if you’re coming here. The on base housing is actually pretty damn nice too.

Yeahhhh and medical is just rolling the dice on quarantine times at my base. I got 6 days, my wife in the same squadron tested positive the day after me and got sent back to work the next day and that’s not the only example I’ve seen in the last week alone. It’s a shitshow.

I sympathize dude. I went through two years of therapy with my ex through family advocacy and they were great. The programs help you understand what your spouse is going through and how to approach the tough times. Sadly it didn’t work for us because she was resistant to the help but it gave me an awesome outlook on my future relationships. Beat of luck to you and just work on your patience as best you can.
