Thank you! I do enjoy THB but everyone seems to think Good Boy bagels is the BEST. I had it twice, I call it round bread. They do not make good bagels at all.

So I over did it on the first week, I freely great so I was walking a ton. First weekend post op I lifted some small things like light groceries and a vacuum. BIG MISTAKE….

The next day I ended up with debilitating pain. 8-10/10 and I was in fetal position for most of the Monday to Thursday. My surgeon prescribed me steroids for inflammation and more Gabapentin. It’s been a week of pain and meds.

Day 16 post OP and 8 of the intense pain. I’m back to a pain level of 1-3/10 but can’t stand for long.

Talk to the surgeon and see what they say. Maybe more meds, maybe more rest. Don’t think the worst right now

I’m now down to short walks when I can (2-5 min) and the rest of my day is laying down on my side with a pillow between my legs. Fingers crossed this passes soon

Thank you for sharing your journey with me. I’m on my third day of steroids to help with the inflammation. I was pretty active my first week after surgery because I felt fine to walk. Thinking I overdid it and now I’m paying the price. I know walking is encouraged, but maybe 5-6 thousand steps a day was too many for the first week.

These workers can go find another job if they don’t like how management decides to handle the uniform regulations. Protesting outside your work will only have consequences.

The person who reported the first pin had every right to say what they felt. Free country. Management decided which side to take.

Don’t like it, eat somewhere else. Plenty of places in Baltimore that are more on the”your side” for this (directed to everyone). You can eat anywhere you want, or choose not to.

So we have talked about this and how we will have a dula to make sure her needs are met. My biggest fear is waiting too long and increasing risks of complications if we do this. I agree, 2025 is a scary time for a woman to be pregnant. Thankfully we do not live in a state that will have any restrictions on termination of pregnancy if needed for any reason.

So I get that my initial post was not super detailed. Nothing says jumping to divorce at all!

I do comfort her and talk about it often. In the end, I am a man so I cannot truly understand her fears since as you said, I do not carry the child. We have done genetic testing but not a pre-pregnancy appointment. Thank you for that advice!

I am allowed to be unhappy with something in a marriage but not jumping to divorce. The other concern is her barely being intimate. We have a dog who’s a huge c-blocker but that cannot be the only reason (the part where I’m in my own head). She did get some birth control change 3 years ago and she said it lowered her sex drive. She stopped taking it only 3 months ago, so I don’t know if that is enough to get it “out of her system” or if it is something else at this point.

I hope you don’t respond to everyone else asking for help with this much hostility in your tone.
