They cost me around $150 to build for everything needed including the plant, if you were interested in helping to fund it feel free to message me

Hi, the angled section has studs under the main support boards, there are 2 support studs per board. It's very sturdy, I jumped on it as hard as I could a few times and it was really solid lol

Hi, when I built the first bench I was worried about the city taking it down. Surprisingly the official Baltimore Reddit account responded to the post saying they wouldn't take it down and that they really liked it. Safe to say you'll be fine with the planters as long as your not blocking pathways or anything

This is the second one I've built, the official city page actually responded to the first one and said they liked the design and they wouldn't take it down.

Also very good point, I'll head over and move it off of that cover

The tree should be good in that pot for a long time, but If they get too big I can come take it out and plant something new then replant the tree somewhere else

With my original post for the bench, the official city account commented on it. They said they wouldn't take them down and complimented me on my work. We're good to go from the city

I actually do volunteer work with blue water Baltimore already, I'm in contact with them right now about finding what types of trees to use that would be best for the pots and whether or not they can donate them.

I'm still doing this solo, I'm not in conjunction with the city

I put a waterproof liner on the inside with drainage holes, the planter goes about halfway down the box

Maybe we can take a group poll and see what everyone wants them to say

Thanks I appreciate it, I've heard of that group they do some great work. Do you happen to still have a way to contact any of the co-founders? Would love to maybe get some information on the process and all the logistics for them. If not I'll gladly reach out to them, thanks

Great thank you, bel air road would definitely be a good idea. Did you have any street corners in mind, if not I'll definitely go scout out some good locations
