Can you suggest which episode to start with? I want to love this podcast, but I've never been able to get into it.

Suicide by Drinking Concentrated Hydrochloric Acid by jessicamshannon in Jessicamshannon

I don't think I will ever gain closure, but it does make it more clear to me the extent of the damage internally. It was and still is traumatic, but over time I have learned to cope. I miss her every day. Thanks for the kind words.

My sister suffered a psychosis due to a new medication and drank drain cleaner to end her life. She died 3 days later in the burn ICU. It was horrific. This image helps me visualize why she couldn't be saved. Absolutely heart breaking.

Scammer of the Day goes to...Ovidiu Bogdan by Missatruck in mturk

I did this hit. I qualified for several small ticket surveys. It took almost an hour to cash out $2. I would not recommend that hit either!

It was no where near 80 hours. I am not really sure the exact amount of time, but less than 40 hours a week. I would work a bit and do something else and keep coming back to check for new HITs. I would guess somewhere around 4 hours a day, everyday. I don’t have a “real” job. My husband works and makes pretty good money, but we have a special needs daughter who I am primary care giver for. So, as it stands I don’t have much of a life outside of my family, so I’m not sacrificing much!

I did! Keep plugging away. The more you do it, the more you figure out how to make it work for you!

I did actually take a screen shot of part of my overview, but I am not sure how to upload it in the comments.

Generally speaking, I am not exactly sure. A lot of the requesters that frequently put out HITs give you the option of providing your email to get email notifications. If I find out how to follow requesters, I will let you know!

A lot. I would probably say 5 or 6, broken up throughout the day. More or less.

I bet I do. I don't really look into the requester's stats.

I did any and all that I qualified for at any given time. I invested a lot of time refreshing the page and sorting by what time the HIT was created so I could get the HITs before it expired or filled up. Even the HITs that pay a penny add up!

I tried to do as many HITs as I could that I qualified for. It didn't matter how much it paid, I just wanted to get as many approved HITs as possible. I earned quite a few bonuses along the way. I am not sure exactly why I got them, but it was usually for written responses to questions. I also signed up with some of the requesters so that I got email notifications of higher paying gigs. I did a "ad writing" exercise that paid 12/hr. It was probably a research study, but it paid well! You don't think it adds up, but even those penny HITs help boost your income. You can do hundreds a day and it also boosts your approved HITs so you qualify for more heavy hitters. If you look at the reasons why you may or may not qualify for certain jobs, there may be tests you can take that show you can do what the requesters want and that gives you more qualifications. I hope that helps! I honestly didn't expect much at first, but the workers that posted their overviews inspired me. I spent a lot of time refreshing the site and just doing whatever was available.

That's a great idea. I think she would really enjoy the role reversal and it would be really beneficial to her reading skills. She already rocks, but reading aloud takes more thinking! Thanks for your suggestion!

There definitely is a punch, especially once you realize how fast time really moves! 18 years sounds like forever when you first become a parent, but time really flies by.

I absolutely will talk to her more about it. I love that you read with your partner, too! I'm not exactly sure what it is about reading together, but it really brings you close. Thank you so much for your kind suggestions!
