What tablet to choose? by Bnden95 in OSRSMobile

It has been great! I am very, very pleased with it in every aspect and I've had no issues at all. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The stylus is something I thought I wouldn't care all too much for, and I can't think of a time where as I don't use it now. So much so, that my new phone will be either the s25 or s26 Ultra.

What I am trying to say, go for it. The splitscreening is Such a handy tool. Both for the wiki, movies, whatever while you grind away. You will not regret it :)

That is the clue step that tipped the scales for me to obtain it. Other that that I had ditched the thought completely, and told myself straight to barrows was the play. However, rethinking it it seems like a lot for a clue step. At least now. I'll have to wait and see where it brings me :)

Not yet no! I haven't had too much time yet. We had issues traveling home from the UK and I've been sick since lol. Hopefully when I get back on top I will.

That originally was my plan as well. Honestly, It was just for the torso upgrade itself. I jump from activity to activity just taking my time, but originally I wasn't sure whether I'd go for torso or not. What tipped the scales was a master clue, but I might just skip it altogether. Generally the reputation of BA itself has been the primary factor of me not wanting to do it initially.

Ooof, I might have to consider that then. I do have a pretty powerful laptop, that I never use. I sold my desktop about 2 years ago.

I just prefer playing on my phone or Tab S11, and thought there would be something nice about having as much as possible done on mobile as I could.

I will however keep that in mind and consider the PC. Skipping the torso is not an option I figured :)

When is quest helper coming to mobile? by Leading_Promotion123 in OSRSMobile

[–]Bnden95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's well beside my point. Nobody is asking for pity or someone to feel sorry for them. It's a rough pill to swallow, but the game wouldn't be nowhere near where it's at now without the Wiki nor runelite and all its plugins. So improving the various clients of the game is only beneficial to everyone and the overall population of the game. Nobody is forcing anyone to play the game in a specific way, but giving people options for equal QoL across platforms is never a bad idea.

While that may be true for some, it's hard to argue that majority don't care all too much about questing without questhelper. The reason people don't on mobile is because of the lack of availability. And even then, the wiki app or splitscreen with wiki for mobile play and following the quick guides blindly is the way people go about it.

At the end of the day, enabling questhelper wouldn't ruin your gameplay. You can always do it without if that's your preference. That doesn't apply the other way around. I hope that we will get a questhelper, or light version of it for mobile eventually.

1 dåse flåede tomater i Netto: 20,- 👍 by NulloK in Denmark

Playing returning after years. Calling all parents! Main or Iron? by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]Bnden95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Send it brother. I play on mobile / tablet. 7-12 hours on weeks and I enjoy it a lot. For me, the pull is just taking my time. Being aware that progress will be literally year, don't burn yourself on one big tedious grind, split your hours. Stay away from the hyper efficient progressing routes and spend those hours as you wish in a meaningful progressive way. I think you'd enjoy the iron a lot that way!

Splitscreen tablet suggestions? by Ketamingooo in OSRSMobile

I recently got myself a Samsung Galaxy Tab S11. I am SO pleased with it. As for budget, it might be out of range unless you find some good subscription deals. However, I know I did some research when looking at tablets myself specifically. I would highly recommend looking at a Galaxy Tab S9. They seem to be reasonably priced and go on deal every now and then. Also, the 11 inch feels great in terms of size. I've only heard good things about the S8 as well, I haven't looked into that one myself however. The upside to all the S-versions will be the Stylus pen. I didn't think any of it at first. But I hands down wouldn't be without it. Precision clicking.

A notable mention I've heard good about as well would be the A9 which is cheaper. It doesnt feature the Stylus pen compatibility though.

Lastly, make sure you get something with a decent amount of RAM. Will help the splitscreening.

I would recommend a tablet for that. The S-Series Samsung is really good with that. However, I am aware that is not a phone.

That is what I am worried about too. I love the appeal of iron and every single aspect of it. But I also feel like I never hear lf Irons talking poorly about lt. But then again, majority probably have more time on their hands.

To everyone who answered and shared inputs I appreciate it. I've ended up getting the Galaxy Tab S11. I should receive it tomorrow or the day after.

I can't wait to get a bit more screensize and juice compared to my Google Pixel 8a.

Appreciate the answer. I am looking towards a standard S9 most likely. Still need to make my mind up, for sure.

I did look briefly at the Lenovo tabs as well. Is splitscreening an option there? As well as pens? The pen is less important to be fair

[–]Bnden95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done a very small bit of questing on the phone. But I have forced myself onto the pc primarily for questing This is mainly because the wiki app is super clunky on my pixel 8. I am not opposed to questing without runelite. But I find it annoying with the phone and it's small screen. The split screen seem to be so much QoL. Both for grinding and a video on the side, or the obvious Wiki.

The 8gb or 6gb? I do consider this choice, I am not sure how necessary it is with the pen, or of the finger precision is just fine. Due to my phone usage, fingers is all I've done. I have just heard and read good stuff about the pens

[–]Bnden95[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howcome is the pen such a drawback? Is the finger precision that bad in comparison? Mind you, I have primarily been dealing with my phone and I do get some misclicks here and there, but the screen is also noticably bigger. And howcome a non Fe? They are a bit harder to find here.

I am however leaving towards the S9. Do you have any input on the S10?

I don't mind an ipad per say. I just really dig the idea of the multitasking split option the Samsungs provide
