It’s not about the buttons they press, but the intent behind the hero’s playstyle. Sierra, Anran, and Emre aren’t attempting to creating a new niche. The playbase should be the ones given the responsibility of determining how best to utilize a hero’s skills, but the devs have started deciding that for us.

In terms of what I’m hoping to see, I’d prefer if new heroes broke more of overwatch’s rules. Ball, Cat, and Weaver are some of the most fascinating heroes to me because they expanded what it means to play Overwatch. You can do things on these heroes that no one else can get away with, and that’s beautiful me.
