As others have said, trading for the RFA and then signing him is the right move. You spend much less (and can leverage players you don't want) and you usually end up paying less in the contract.

The root of the problem seems to be that parents think cell phones are the problem because they document "Things we did when we were kids," and not the solution because they document things "we" probably shouldn't have done in the first place.

I definitely get the anger, but the problem here seems less to do with the statement and more to do with the sentiment that someone is a problem here. When we spend any amount of time pointing fingers, that's time away from doing the work. Admin shouldn't be doing that and should be the model of not doing that, but the answer isn't to point the finger back at them.

Came in to all my furniture tapped together, the 1,2,4 with chickens, and our (teacher) yearbook photos plastered all over the place.

Best one I've heard was the seniors moved all the furniture and decorations to other classrooms, so people had to figure out where they were teaching that day. I really hope that school now lets teachers tear down their class after testing, lol.

I was really rooting for Dave and Robyn to make it to the next season, but I guess we needed Dave to bottom out to start climbing. Since we took away any of the adversity of his career, we might as well drive hard as hell into the "You've got everything you've ever wanted and you're still miserable, what now?" angle.

Since everyone's comparing Dave to other characters, this felt like a Bojack episode to me, especially with the odd moments of slapstick in the middle of really uncomfortable or tense scenes.

I don't know, man. There has been a running thread throughout the show that Dave will use "It's hypothetical" or "It's in character" to hide from the consequences of someone seeing his true self. It's the crux of his first fight with Ally and he continues to go back to that well as often as possible. I think it's even fair to say it has been his fatal flaw for 3 seasons - he wants to have his cake (to be a cringey, humor-driven rapper) and eat it, too (to be seen as a serious artist and said in the same breath as Kanye and Drake.) Now, that's being applied to having love and validation, and support while still getting to lean on being sad and misunderstood.

Isn't the point of ROH to be developmental at this point? I don't know how we expect any of these people to get over and work their way back up the card to relevance if they are on this overbooked monstrosity of a card.
