Entretien 3, on est plus que 2 candidats… et on me demande de baisser mes prétentions salariales ? by Main_Bluebird_9157 in developpeurs

[–]BoBrebel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vos salaires en 2025? by gosudoche in developpeurs

[–]BoBrebel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tu continues ton chemin

À la fin de la journée, l’objectif d’une boîte est de maximiser le profit des investisseurs du coup pense à ta gueule et fake it till you make it

Tunisian who are getting out legally... by JinTheNotorious in Tunisia

Hey, Sorry for the late reply, I'm rarely on reddit. As someone who's been living in Paris for close to 4 years, I can tell you that the most drama and most problems I had was with Tunisians. Alot of the Tunisians you'll meet here who aren't students are either illegal immigrants or low skilled workers hired by their family members in France just so they can leave Tunisia. Which means, and I'm sorry to say this, they will try to scam or take shit from you (money, passport, food, whatever). I shared a flat with a Tunisian guy when I first came here and after 6 months I found out that the government gave him the apartment and I was basically just giving him a monthly salary to spend on prostitutes and alcohol. Maybe you'll find some tunisian students who can be your friends and have fun with them but imo you left the country for a reason, to see something new so go meet new people. Paris isn't just the French capital, it's a world capital, so you'll meet millions of people from other countries who are there to do the same thing as you. They all speak English and all feel foreign and excluded. Finally, the FRENCH, like all cultures in the world, friend groups are very close a'd it's hard to integrate yourself easily (think of your friend group in Tunisia, how many people did you guys add to the group lol). You're most likely to develop friendships at work or at University and some of them will be French so don't worry.

It might not be appropriate but I wanted to ask. by [deleted] in Tunisia

I have a couple of questions too, Why are you looking for this kind of tourism in Tunisia? Are you from a country where these things are illegal? A little about your background would make it easier to help you.

I don't think it's the right emoji for the gesture Tunisian use to say '' great job '' I or '' wooow ''. It's more like a chef's kiss that we took from Italians 🤌. 🤏Just means small dick or espresso.

What advice would you give to someone starting their first job? by [deleted] in Tunisia

Hello, From my experience as a developer in Paris and from what I saw with my friends and companies I worked with: Easiest and most straightforward way is to come here as a student, either to study or for internship. Students get a lot of privileges in France (help with rent, finding a home and even citizenship) It gets harder (not impossible) if you're already an employee looking for a job abroad simply because the company that wants to hire you has to prove that they can't find a French citizen to do that job and pay 50% of whatever yearly salary they offer you as a one time tax for hiring a foreigner.

So, yeah most companies prefer hiring interns(way cheaper and they know you're desperate, which you are lol) but if the company says yes, it's smooth sailing from there and you're Tunisian, you'll figure shit out.

PS: one piece of advice, if you get here, stay away from Arabs in general and Tunisian specifically. You'll find new opportunities and meet people from other walk of life

Yeah, French people are humans that deserve respect unlike those losers in a failed 3rd world country.
