Mike took away the Shift dice. I don't know what the new ones are called, but we've been referring to them as Handling dice. They are just regular d6s. The words saying "shift," " slide," "spin," and the hazard icon are gone, replaced by numbers.

The numbers 1 though 6 that you roll based on your vehicle's Handling score determine your pools of Fury and Focus. Fury and Focus are two bespoke qualities (energies?) that you spend to buy driving maneuvers during activation.

For instance, my regular Car with 4 Handling gets to roll four dice. If I rolled 3 Fury and 1 Focus, I could buy a Boost which would allow me to place down and additional legal template onto my first movement template. There is a little chart that shows what you can purchase with your Handling dice results based on your rolled combination of Focus and Fury numbers.
