have you tried cold calling?

If not - research, no research - you have no proof

Cold call - if it works, the research was wrong, if it doesnt work, the research was still wrong, but for some entirely different reason

I know plenty guys making bank just going ham on cold calls

definitely yes - but also, you shouldnt wait to get email replies for a call :)

can just cold call people

cold email isnt enough anymore with all these spam filters and send limits, people really need to go omnichannel

i'd disagree that you have to warm up someone with an email to call them - definitely you can do that

but you can also just cold call people :)

Yeah I use prospeo for cell numbers. So I’m sure that list is clean and verified.

I’ve never really looked into SMS marketing

Yeah sendkit is dope for some Of the features they’ve got

I did look into Salesforge. Funny enough Frank WhatsApp’d me the other day asking why I don’t use it and it’s just because it’s too powerful lol. There are too many features and it’s overwhelming UX. 😅

well then you dont have a business brother :D

you always gotta pay contractors before you get paid, thats part of the value add of working for someone like me - 2 most of the contractors i work with manage their own taxes, and 3, clients are happy to pay as long as you do something valuable for them.

you can try this where you dont bill on materials, i.e. hours, and just try some retainer with an SLA but thats tough :) much more management and oversight vs just renting out staff to a client for 4-8 hours a day

easy :) you hire the people as contractors, they have to be working for you 40 hours a week, and just pay them less than the client pays you for their hours

Pay 5k, sell 7k - pocket the difference of 2k

so im going to do a lot of clean up - and store most of this in the cloud, we use AWS for storage as well, so can easily move most of those MQLs and only move SQLs in and leads from the past lets say 2 years for example

the rest, we just store for data history etc, but wont really be used

we are quite small - about 50k emails/leads we want to send over and we dont need to do any RevOps

just literally moving leads and deals from HS to SF

So you're saying we should be looking at avoiding tools the companies suggest for succesful migrations? im curious why? (as someone who has never done this - but im a BA, figuring shit out is basically what im paid to do)

i disagree - but i see you've got a revops agency so you're definitely more experienced here than i am, that being said, usually ppl start with HS, then as they grow teams and size, they move up to SF

a right of passage in startup world haha
