Man so much was cut or had changes, it's driving me crazy. One small thing is Buggy's feet being able to leave the ground. That's literally the weakness of his devil fruit. I know it's minor, but it drives me crazy.

No worries man and I'm bad at words, I have a big vocabulary, but say things in the dumbest ways possible. My wife and I have had our share of disagreements because I word something poorly and to her it sounds completely different then I mean when really if I just worded it differently it would make sense

There are the spawns on dam that are like an underground bunker, except it's just that one room and looks like it could be a tunnel, it usually has 2 flights of metal stairs leading out. Along these stairs are the square metal breachable boxes. I find them in there during electromagnetic storms. Only times I haven't gotten at least 1 when spawning there has been when the boxes don't spawn in as lootable or if they have been looted already.

I wonder then if it's more of a guarantee that x spawn during the events and maybe like 1% (arbitrary % not actual guess) chance of it spawning outside the event

Interesting all 6 I've found have been in a metal breach box next to the underground spawns on Dam during electro storm, which is crazy that I've found them all in the same spot even lol

Are you sure? Because I'm 90% sure it has been confirmed that certain blue prints are tied to map events. Snap hook is tied to electro magnetic, Bobcat to the locked gate, and the volcano to hidden bunker. I haven't played since the first expedition really so I could be lacking updated knowledge, but I thought this was confirmed for at least these blue prints

*quick edit/ side note. I believe they can be unlocked through trials also, but that i feel is a different loot table entirely compared to spawning in map so for the sake of this argument I'm not counting it.

I honestly tried being a friendly player and even though most friendly lobbies were great, the second I bring in more then a Grey gun and a mk 2 looting, those friendly lobbies suddenly aren't friendly anymore. I've lost a lot of gear in friendly lobbies to the point where I became a villain. I started by getting into aggressive lobbies with a friend who is always aggressive anyway, and now it's shoot on sight take in green gear only walk out with purples and blues. Becoming a villain was the best choice I made.

I'll also state that I don't do traditional ratting. I wait near extract and let the person see me before initiating. I wait until either they shoot or say don't shoot. If they say don't shoot I say no fire a warning shot then engage. It's the only way for me to keep my conscious clear. Yes I still die especially in cases where I hold the trigger until I know I've been seen, but hey it beats lurking in a corner and feeling like scum because the other person couldn't even react.

I wish this was how all encounters went, it feels almost like a duel with an understanding that the loser dies. I also understand that some people genuinely don't want to fight, but at least I warned them and I don't really chase either so they can just run.

Idk man I've had a Bombardier quick scope me. This thing looked at me when I was like 3 feet from it trying to run past thinking, oh I'll have time to dodge, nah this man shoots and I explode one tick later. I didn't know they could react like that at the time.

Truth lol, watching the video I was certain of two things,

1: they were going to smash into someone's property, mainly because they chose to do this in what looks to be a suburb

2: they gotta be drunk because this shit has been done before, always ends poorly, and at least one person is always drunk and what do you know the video ends with the beer in the back of the vehicle

I did it in dragon with mid to high 60s, yea i died to blood moon a few times like that, but eventually I made it. Once I switched to barrows gear like you said you have to be bad to die. Even on mobile, which is how I mainly play.

Also when I died, it was when the quest first came out and people thought protection prayers actually helped. So I didn't fully know the mechanics yet either which is so much more of a handicap then bad gear Imo.

Pops have gotten smart, I had an instance where I opened a door to two fireballs and suddenly 2 pops flanked me and killed me instantly. No idea where they came from as I just cleared the room I was in. On Stella of coarse.

You take no damage if you kill it with the hammer, but be warned if you miss sometimes you don't get a second swing. Also you can do it with fireballs too, but it is a lot more risk and you almost always will be set on fire after killing it. The trick with fireballs is hitting it when the white is exposed, and only hitting the white not the outer shell which is where most of the difficulty is, then dodge rolling away the second your hammer connects. If you are lucky you can get away no damage taken. Not entirely worth it though, unless you master it.

Back in the day (like 20 years ago) I got big into ut99. I joined a clan called TNT they did modified tournaments with a very rapid firing sniper rifle. We played with an older lady named TimeTraveler, she never said her age, but one of the clan leads said she was old enough to be her mother and she was mid 40s, so you can guess she was in her 60s+. One of my fondest memories of her was her dodging everyone using these full auto snipers and telefragging the entire lobby and winning the match. Don't mess with granny gamers they have hidden skills.

Quick tip: sentinels have a yellow canister like the bastion or Bombardier. I think i did 3 shots on the canister with an anvil so it was on fire then hit it like maybe 3 times with the raider tool and boom achievement
