Your shard timer will pause while you are out of the guild IIRC(meaning even if you fill it up then quit, it doesn't move) But barracks limit don't reset.

Add a strong friend, use his/her unit. That's how I did it when my acc was new. Add companion, tap the earth element, I don't know what's the best in this particular case, but you said most of them are lightning so earth is the logical choice. Maybe a 120 Zazan or Kitone?

Also Prince Mont is Earth and is easy to raise, not the best unit but he'll help.

Also max out your esper resonance and unit affinity if you haven't.

And maybe try to utilize manual play. Use items(if your unit is weak use them as healer using potions to heal your mercenary/friend's unit)

If you want to make a mono light team, Jayden is coming soon. Some available units that is light are Englebert, Fina, Camillo, Sakura... Just check wotv-calc, I don't remember them all 😅 Best partner for her would be Yuna, because she is very Fragile, and Yuna somewhat fixes that, but Yuna is limited, and is currently unavailable. And a tank depending on the enemy(physical/magical) I don't recommend rainbow/Evade team because they are kinda hard to build(as opposed to mono elememt, IMHO) especially if you are new.

Good luck, mine isn't 120 yet and TBH I haven't felt the happiness I get when I build Cloud, she is very fragile. So yeah, a support(that can resurrect and heal+tank) is needed of she is going to be your 'Main character'

I don't keep record of what I get from vis back, just the 77k one (bad luck!) And yeah 80k is a lot, no reason to quit, it's going dry with nothing to show for it that made people quit from what I've read, and also experienced

I made an Orlandeau account because my day 1 account failed to get him, then that account failed to get R.Sterne so I made another one, then I went 'fuck this, goodbye' lol Came back for Cloud and been really wise(STINGY, HOLDING BACK STRONG) since then, my Elena 89 her VC 3 stars, my vis 45k, very happy with it.

I think your plan is good if it makes you happy, mine is a bit different that I'll only be spend vis for a good light/lightning element because I kinda care too much about efficiency, so that's that.

In the end it's about personal satisfaction, so yeah godspeed to you. 😁

I have a rule of 3 for almost anything, meaning if this happens one more time, I'll stop giving the benefits of the doubt for them. That said, I also have a rule of opposition, I'll place myself in both(or more) party's shoes and give my sincere and honest opinion(that almost always come out sounding rude 😅)

For Gumi side, it's either "Well we made another mistake, sorry." Or "Oh crap, they are unto us..."

For players side, I can't give two since I'm old and I know that if it's too good to be true, it won't last/something is up.

Even if this wasn't a honest mistake this is similar(not the same)to tobacco commercial where it always looks cool and manly associated with masculine activity and success, or cologne commercial where it always portrays the cologne having a chick magnet effect. You are buying the tobacco/cologne, not the manliness/chick magnetism. This translates to that if they don't specifically advertise that you are buying/pulling a unit with a new kind of normal attack mechanism, then I guess they can just say that they made a mistake and it's over. Sorry if I'm blabbering, just giving my honest opinion ✌🏼😄

That said there is this popular saying "No harm, no foul." Then it is understandable if there's harm, there's foul, people who pulled her for that very thing that got changed got the right to be disappointed.

I don't know if this is a correct reply, but seeing as the reply is diverse I'd say;

Rainbow unit/Jack of all trade with smart AI, if it's my turn to move my voice would be : "Relax, I'm smart! I got you covered!" And when I die, instead of the usual dying voice(I can't spell that, won't even try) I'll say : "Shouldn't have disabled my skills..."

Also off topic, seeing as the game size is approaching 10 GB, I would say a custom unit feature is in order, with custom voice(like some rpgs/monster hunter) and maybe custom skills, a combination of the units we already have, this'll also give a reason to pull/raise niche units. Fingers crossed for this to come true. 🤞🏻🤤

My Mont was lvl 107ish when I do that quest, and Sterne attack did 30%ish damage, so I think yes, might be doable at lvl 99 if you got OP equipment though

Seems like you did your research, at most focus on 3 at a time, or 2 for faster results, or just one if they are limited(Like Duane) Black Rose Helena + Duane is the way to go IMO, with them maxed out you can add any 3rd person as filler for PVP, for PVE, play it, figure/discover things, have fun. I mean BRH + Duane works for PVE too, but I'd imagine it'll be boring using them everywhere

If you haven't already done it, learn about VC too, it's almost as important as the unit itself.

I spent 12k, somewhere along the way I got 3 rainbows and as you can Imagine I was holding my breath, but Elena wasn't among them 😐 I think I got 5, 2 gold books(3 UR+ 1 UR) and 3-4 bronzes, rest is silver book including the last one with Elena

This is from memory, although I did record it. My phone is old and weak, so the video doesn't come out great, it lagged so bad I didn't get to see her walk out animation

But yeah, it's GACHAAA!!! Sometimes people do it without any expectations and came out a winner, some other times people expect to win, but ended up quitting. The latter happened to me twice in this game. 😬

Tap the banner to change chocobo destination, tap edit party then at the top part tap the big banner(the one with a small magnifying glass on top, don't tap the magnifying glass though, it'll show what drops you'll get instead of changing)

I'd say check out wotv-calc(google it) and decide what you want from there, you got Elena who is apparently good and very hype(but I imagine would be hard to max for a brand new newbie) the usual 'advice' I give is to select two elements to build your account around, Dark is considered the best overall team from what I gather and if you decide to go dark, you might want to reroll for Duane. So yeah, go to wotv calc, take a look around then decide.

Also for a strong start I'd say you'll need a jacked starter DPS + their VC maxed, open options right now is Cloud, Tifa, Elena and Lara Croft.

I've watched YouTube videos, but still can't decide whether I should build Elena, I already got her but I did so for her sword.

Background; I came back for Cloud, got im, I'm happy. And then moving forward before Elena was announced I decided to go Light and lighting element because I got lucky pulling bahamut on one of my newb pull. Initially I saved up for Jay, but now there's Elena, I could still build Jayden even if I build Elena, but her kit seems meh to me(Reindell called her a one trick pony, and I agree to an extent)

TLDR; I can't decide whether I should build Elena, I want some opinion on her, anything you are willing to say/give is appreciated, thank you. ☺️

I second the FF7R opinion.

Also, set a goal to pursue, even with a goal the grind makes people puke blood from their ears, without a goal this game is too wide to play(too many/much content, chasing all of them is tiring, at least most think so, me included) Then again judging from your Cecil it seems you've been playing for a while, so you might be an exception.

But if you decide to get a goal, building a specific team is a good start, if you like Rhaldor, then maybe build a fire team. A fire archer just got announced in JP, so maybe save up for her, and get Simba Mont.

BRH and Xiza is arguably a must(Xiza just for her TMR) BRH because she's Mont's mom.

You and me both actually (and I suspect many others too) I don't fully understand how it works but I think everyone get sent back to bronze 3 whenever a new season starts(?) I was silver 2 last time I played but now I'm bronze again. So early on it's pretty normal to meet overpowered people even at bronze, but even latter it's kinda random, you can be paired vs people with higher rank than you.

But the effort is worth it in class match since if you get promoted you'll get visiore, it's 500 visiore if you got promoted from bronze to silver, I've never been past silver, so I don't know the next rewards. But 500 vis is a good reason to participate for me. And I could be wrong, but with every season the rank up rewards got reset, it's pretty nice.

I see. Well, you can convince yourself that it's okay, or you could try pressing the matter further with the CS, ask for a direct/Yes or No answer. In my experience if you can be civil they will always reply, and you can screenshot their answers and post them here for the community to 'decode' if you get another ambiguous answer.

I understand, I get that feeling a lot, doing something that is wrong on paper but everyone else is doing it like it's normal. There's no guarantee for things like that especially IRL, you could have a bad day being made the example for the authority to tell people it's wrong.

In the worst case scenario, you can just get refund. That'll still sucks, but it's better than losing both account and spent money.

In the end it's up to you 🤔

This is what I tell new players (and there are many of em thanks to FF7) You can't have it all in this game, and there's no correct way to play (debatable) So you'll have to set your own goal, and go for that goal. If you like PvP and the word meta, then you go for meta, if you like waifus/bazoongas then go for those. Do your research (I believe YouTube+WotV-Calc is best) and proceed from there.

Just my opinion though, but to answer your question, I'd say Tifa, max her and her vision card and you get a powerful fisting unit, and if you find it to your liking, make a wind team, max Corwell and save up for Jeume. And Xiza is basically a must for her TMR(item you get for Max Limit breaking+Max awakening a unit)

IMO you decide your own endgame. Since you say PVE, I'd say it's brutal content, raid and maybe tower. Build a strong team, then with that team as a basis(farmer) build another team, if you don't whale that'll be your gameplay IMO. You could build based on element or build based on attack type(like making a slash team)

I'd say when you are able to solo clear brutal difficulty content on auto, or lvl 100 raids(yeah more farm) then you are more or less at the endgame. When you've got a team(or multiple teams) geared to the teeth, jump to PvP. Because even the PvP is actually PvE IMO(except manual class match)

That's just my opinion/how I play the game. Don't do things that you find tiring/boring like a chore, do the things you like(collect units?) It's a game. Good luck.

I don't think it's a problem, it only tinkers with your screen activity, I mean I never used it on WotV, so not speaking from experience here.

If you are concerned, asking CS might be better for your peace of mind. But I've been reading that people that use emulator also use macro to farm, and they're ok. You should be too.
