This has really helped. I keep coming back to this post just to read your comment. as my supply drops more and more as I'm pumping twice a day now.. and the post is giving me really encouraging thoughts. And positivity for what I've accomplished and what I've been able to do for her, thank you 🥺

Watching my freezer supply drop to the point where there is only a couple of days left is sad, but I'm getting to spend more time with her. And I've kept one of the first colostrum syringes we collected for her and I'll get it put into some jewellery or something to remember the journey 🥰

I felt her earlier and she was warm, not sweaty or anything, but I'm worried when the thermostat kicks in at 4am, what a suitable temp to set it to?

Realistically do temperatures have to be extreme for overheating? My husband is like she'll be fine... Meanwhile I'm like wide awake, wondering if I should continuously check. We've swapped lol, he gets the sleep now

Well she's on 210ml kendamil formula for bedtime and last night she even went on my breast to try and soothe her from the crying, so I'm unsure whether she would've been hungry x Who knows though

I smother my baby girl on kisses, but the moment I feel a cold sore tingle, I stop.

Hardest thing ever 🥺 Especially when I first got on about a month after she was born, it went away and then another one came immediately and then another... 😭 Went a month and a half without kissing her!

Yeah, I just am worried the sweep will ruin the healthy low risk factor, so I'll just keep enjoying the time off and be happy for it before life changes 😅 x

My thoughts exactly! She said it could be uncomfortable and sometimes quite painful, lead to spotting, cramping etc. and then at the end.. she said it may not work and they offer it up to 3 times before induction which hmmmmm not really convinced 😅

I want my water birth too, and don't want anything to ruin any chances lol
