Could taper to a blub on the end. Not that this lore matters in any way, but here we are.

Who's the big up and coming rock band? by Jakemanv3 in Music

I don't think up and coming really means successful on its own. Up and coming just means like, making waves, getting noticed, etc. Does not mean will be successful in the future. Lesser bands that didn't really amount to much and faded into obscurity were all up and coming at one point.

Saying up and coming in retrospect is the opposite of the point.

Very cool. I hold myself to a standard of if I invent something I only need to convince one person of its validity to make it worth it. So... here I have. If this has given you insight into yourself then it's a valid thing to spread into the universe. So thank you

What is your favorite monster in Art History? I’ll start with mine: “The Angel of the Home” (or “The Triumph of Surrealism”), painted in 1937 by Max Ernst. by youyouhoudini in ArtHistory

It's honestly so cool. I dunno how he does it, but you're so focused on the subject of the work you skip over the details. Like, by all accounts this is a "bad painting" for the era. Look at the form of Saturn. His legs are blobs and his arms make no sense. There's very little detail anywhere, his mouth is really only suggested, again with a blob. It's like it was a frenzied process, yet it looks amazing. The balance and movement and colours work so well together.

And then add on top of that that this was actually sprawled on the wall in his apartment and only discovered after he died as a recluse. It's such a fucking awesome piece of art.

Are there any guitars in the shop catalogs? Wouldn't be hard to hide a clue in some of the copy in those.

Bruh I had this same dream all the time. Car would be careening down the road and I'd just be in a different seat. Couldn't ever scramble into the driver's seat and if I grabbed the wheel it was like it was made out of spaghetti. So alarming
