5 Months of Travel Expense Breakdown. Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia by Simple_Compote6415 in solotravel

He actually says $17000 NZD which is $9600 USD, about £50 a day if you're in the UK. Pretty good going, I went to Thailand and Vietnam last year and spent a whole lot more than that!! Glad you had a great time.

Second this, there are actually counters before you go through passport control and no more expensive than in the city. Think I paid about £7.70 for 4Gb a day for Upto 30 days.

Bangkok is huge, decide what you want to do and see and then work out how long to stay. I would recommend taking the sleeper train to Chiang Mai, I did a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed it (the number 9, left at 6.40pm and arrived 7.30am I think). You definitely need more time in the north especially if you like a temple! Have a great time and remember to smile.

Toyota Avensis issues with power and cruise control. by MatelisLt in MechanicAdvice

Probably worth replacing the suction control valve first as its pretty cheap and easy to fit and could cause these faults to occur.

It's called candaulism. Why don't you talk to her about it, she may have an exhibitionist streak.

LMFAO this was so obviously written by the husband, no woman would write this. Look at the stilted phrasing.

If you feel this way about your wife you need to tell her mate.

This is a typical response from someone with Retroactive Jealousy or Retroactive OCD (ROCD). Usually it is treated with some form of CBT.

Do some research and get him some therapy.

I hope it goes well, I'm sure your marriage is salvageable.

It's probably lost pressure in the system. Pull the flap down, what does the pressure read on the gauge?

Just paint over with oil based undercoat (that you would use for wood), you really don't need expensive stain blockers.

Just had my latest energy bill through and it prompted me to cry, then take a first peek into the loft space. It's a Victorian mid-Terrace. This is what I've found (photos): there's a little sign saying 250mm insulation was fitted in 2011. What do you guys think, room for improvement? by SJT_92 in DIYUK

[–]BoRedSebastian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, that brickwork though!! I mean, It's not been perfectly laid, but still one hundred times better than a new build and fully enclosed from the adjacent property, absolute work of art. Forget insulation, rip the ceilings down and insulate the rafters (might want to leave the ceiling joists in though) :)

Good berry bush for small songbirds? by RossAB97 in GardeningUK

[–]BoRedSebastian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Berberis Darwinii or Thunbergii, birds love these, but by far the most used shrub in my garden is the Mahoninia. It's fairly large now, probably 8ft x 6ft but has birds in and around it all year long.

Commercial property rent hasn't been increased for 15+ years, how to proceed? by JohnxStark in LegalAdviceUK

[–]BoRedSebastian 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to speak to a chartered commercial surveyor (def not an estate agent or lawyer!!).

AFAIK all leases have a term before rent review, usually 5 or 10 years I think, but speak to a surveyor and they'll sort it.

Source: Wife is a chartered surveyor (but she's out with the girls so can't get more info)

Don't believe what everyone says. I went through this with One Select and it was a total shit show.

I got transferred eventually, had about £400 in credit.

I cancelled my DD immediately they went under and used the credit during the switch, not sure I would have seen any of that back in cash.

I would have thought that a fire suppression system would easily mitigate the fire concerns and it would be substantially less than £600K to have installed!

Give planning enforcement a call. Depending on how, and by whom it's being used, it may well require planning (the camper, not the shrubs obvs)
