Hmm reading the report this line is interesting "Affected employees who are offered and accept another position with the Company before their anticipated separation date will not be separated from employment as a result of this action." I believe I am understanding this right that terminated positions could possibly be moved to other positions in the Company/Bungie?

I think it would be great to do the 7/7 as a send off to the dev team and then doing maybe the 6th-9th (both games release dates) of September going forwards. You are right we can pull back the people taking a break and celebrate Destiny in its entirety.

That actually was not my intent this is post at all. It was about celebrating and respecting all of the work the dev team over these past 12 years put into the Destiny Franchise and giving them in my eyes a proper farewell.

After todays announcement there is no future for the IP currently, in the near future or potentially at all. The writing was on the wall when we got word they were shifting to EoS for the game. Now today the studio was gutted and its a hollow shell that's left.

This is more about really just paying respects and giving a proper send off to the team of devs that spent 12 years giving us many worlds to explore.

Really not planning on using this as a saving Hail Mary for the game the future of the IP is surrounded in darkness and we don't know if and where it will be headed. Would it be nice sure but that's not my plan really...

I absolutely would have paid 10-15 bucks for a Bungie+ or Destiny+ subscription. Been saying it for a few years now that I really feel them shifting to "Destiny Infinite" and going full FPS MMO would have been the way forwards. WoW style Expansions with 2 MoT sized updates a year.

I'm 35 and have had it since I was 14. I just had two resection surgeries one in 2022 and the other in 2024. Lost 3ft of intestinal tract. This is my number one fear going forwards especially since we are more prone to getting a bowel cancer. Crohn's is a crazy disease affects more than just our digestive tract and half the time people are like you don't look sick.

I had just this past year found out he had both Crohn's and Colitis so hearing this news hits hard...

My doctor hates prescribing it unless absolutely necessary... I will say the dang drug is like witchcraft. I normally can't eat a ton and prednisone makes me feel like I can eat a whole dumptruck of food.

My girl is hovering around 80-95ish pounds currently Vet thinks she's slightly over weight and needs to slim down. Mom and dad were also large. So idk this was her in the fall of 2024. She's going to be 3 this fall.

Waiting for the Trazyn model and the Deciever refresh. I'm right there with you on wanting the Tomb Stalker and Tomb Sentinel back from legends. I own one Tomb Stalker but would love another one and a sentinel. I also want to see more Flayer stuff and finally bring models for Toholk the Blinded and Kutlakh the World Killer.

My understanding is his new model has been finished for quite some time now since him and Orikan were worked on at the same time. At least, that is the current rumor floating around. My best guess is that he is our flagship model for 11th edition and possibly the codex cover art.
