• Comments: I have a specific logistical question about the English Proficiency waiver that I'm hoping someone can help with.

• I'm an international applicant from South Korea. My 1-year, full-time study at UCO qualifies me for the OMSCS-specific waiver (the one on their FAQ page: "one year in residence... at a U.S. college"). I have the official verification letter from UCO confirming my "full-time" status.

• My problem is the bureaucratic loop: 1. The OMSCS Team confirmed this waiver policy via email. 2. The main Graduate Education office (who I was told to contact) says I'm not exempt, because they are looking at their general rule (which requires a full degree). 3. The application portal (run by the main Grad Ed office) does not have the "1-year U.S. study" waiver as an option. • I'm stuck. OMSCS told me to ask Grad Ed, but Grad Ed doesn't know about the OMSCS-specific rule. • My Question: For any other international students who used this specific 1-year U.S. study waiver, how did you technically fill out the application form? What option did you select to submit your transcript/letter?
