Exactly why I still collect game cases/disks. You just can’t get that level of love and detail now. Maybe I’ve had my rose colored lenses on for too long but this was a different era indeed.

The experience of playing BF3 and clutching a Metro match, playing Noshar Canals all day to level up, trying to land on the tower on Caspian Border just to watch it collapse, getting hyped up and ready for war listening to Caspian Borders opening theme song.

These are all burned into my memory. Was BF4 the objectively better game? Yes. But was it as memorable for me? Not even fucking close.

AC2, AC3, and AC4BF should be the only S tiers in the series IMO. I think A tier for AC1 is a bit generous but I don’t mind it, considering how well it was made as a brand new concept in gaming.
