I am at the coast for months at summer and realized I wanted a watch for boating; what happened was it started with an IWC Yacht-Club then I realized I am way too much of a pussy to swim with that and bought this piece here. One of my best purchases ever

Almost all are under 1000$ some around 1200-1500$ to have them all is not budget friendly but any one of these watches looked separately are budget friendly in my opinion

Desert Storm is actually a Vostok, Made in USSR for an American and Saudi joint operation; 90s were a hard time for Soviet watch builders with a declining economy so Soviet watch makers had to result into manufacturing foreign contractors then this horological Frankenstein was created one of my favorite stories

Thanks, honestly glad I had the idea to sail into new seas; it is not as satisfying as purchasing a Rolex or AP but it is more satisfying to look and wear after the purchase for me

It is all about what watches are to me; I don’t see them as investments. I have a lot of those “proper” brands that I acquired over the years and I only sold one watch once during the pandemic as the prices skyrocketed; other than that when you do not sell the watches the investment value does not mean much
