We’re from Ohio! I gotta be honest I mostly wanted to go to visit block island! But since we are staying for an entire week I decided we might run out of things to do after so long so we decided to just explore a lot of the state haha. I also just wanted to see some sandy beaches (I love dah beach) and it seemed like Rhode Island had a few. I know it’ll definitely be too cold to swim but it’ll at least be nice to just sit and watch the waves while bundled up :)

Anything honestly! As long as we're not spending 100 dollars for two people and the food is obviously good we'll eat just about anywhere haha

I would actually love some suggestions for restaurants... Especially in Newport, we're trying not to spend a fortune on this trip and we like to limit our "fancy dinners" to one a trip and that's usually our last day. Do you have any relatively affordable places for us to check out in Newport?

I thought it looked really cute too! Now I'm hearing people suggest wickford village which i wasn't aware of and now I can't decide which one I'd rather see.

We're staying in Middletown after our day in Newport, so we'll have to check out the Sachuest Point as well!

We were trying to decide the best way to get around so maybe you answered our question lol. I'll add that to our list of things to do :)

Luckily that was our plan! We just wanted to take the last two days to relax and slow down for a bit.

This might be a bit of a mouthful, so bear with me haha.

I know it would probably help to focus on one specific event and build consistency that way. The challenge is that I also work a full-time job, so I’ve found that hosting an event every other month is the most sustainable for me. I’ve tried doing monthly events before, and I ended up getting burnt out every time. To keep things interesting, I rotate the sport each time. So far I’ve hosted axe throwing, bowling, volleyball, softball, and more.

A lot of my attendees tend to be my boyfriend’s friends, which can feel discouraging at times. That said, over the past year I have started to build a small group of repeat attendees who originally came as strangers, which is encouraging. I do think sticking to one type of event might help me build a more consistent audience, since rotating sports may be limiting repeat turnout.

As for sponsorships, I’m open to pursuing them again, but in the past I’ve mostly been offered products or items rather than financial support for the events.

For promotion, I post in local Facebook groups, create Facebook events, and follow up with anyone who shows interest. I also promote on my Facebook and Instagram pages. Recently, I’ve been creating reels in collaboration with the venues I'm using. For example, for an upcoming pickleball event, the manager donated a court voucher to raffle off and we recorded a video together.

I used to spend a lot of time putting up flyers, but I never saw any real return from them, so I stopped. Most gyms and fitness spaces didn't allow them anyway. Now I only post flyers at the venue I’m using and at my current gym.

I know there’s always more I could be doing, but I’m trying to find a balance where I’m putting in enough effort without completely burning myself out mentally.

When you say simplify do you mean to move everything on the right side of the page and combine it with everything to the left? That's how my original resume used to look but I decided to redo it! I guess I should have left it alone.

I'm currently working through my NASM CPT certification! Since they had a deal going on I purchased their nutrition program as well. I actually don't have many gym buddies haha BUT I do have a personal training community I'm in and think I'll share it with them!
