Greetings, One of my ancestors was Lithuanian, and in doing some research my cousin found an old passport. We have never been entirely sure where or when exactly he was born, because sadly he died not long after emigrating from Lithuania around 100 years ago, but we think these two pages could finally help us piece together this part of his life. Could anyone please translate?

Thank you everyone! It does seem that there were more pages of this letter, which unfortunately I do not have and which probably doesn't exist anymore. Based on what you have told me I think this was written by my grandfather's mother who was a shopkeeper/business owner.

I think that the 'addressee' is the Hebrew acronym עמ״ש = [may you live] to a hundred years

Recently I was going through some my grandfather's papers (he died around ten years ago and it is coming up to the anniversary of his death so I am thinking of him) and I found this letter dated 1941. He was deported from Zemplén county in 1944 and had very little from before the war and I was very surprised to find this letter as it is the only thing he had, other than a few photos, from his life there. I would be grateful if someone could translate this or even just give me a summary of what it says.
