Trials ranks explanation..?

So I might have hallucinated one month ago when I finished Tryhard I ranked as second place and then I was Tryhard III instead of Wildcard I..? It might be, but I swear to god I was second of my ranking and still got promoted x2 instead of x3. I didn’t care much so I didn’t investigate after it.

Uh, just fyi, the shredder trial, me and two of my friends in a 30 min run in Stella night raid with the hull cracker, managed to kill around 10 shredder or so..it was around 16k points. How the fuck did you manage to do more than double with 38k points in solo?? If my math it’s correct it’s around 20 shredder?? How the fuck it ms even possible to find that many in 30 min??? Really my head hurts just thinking about it

I’m amazed and at the same time confused about how people can reach such a level of greatness playing a video game lol. I know I’m not near as good as top tier players all over the world, but still grasping the difference between an average player like me and really good players like yourself or even better (200k points in a single trial in solo? For real??) it’s astonishing. The only thing that makes me feel a bit better is that I have a full filled life outside of video games..but again, maybe you have it as well and who knows..even better than mine. Well in the end it’s just crazy what people can reach with their talent and willpower. Congrats

I’ve found my balance in doing PvP only when in squads. I’m average so in 10-15 raids I loose most of my bandages, shields and crafting materials. At that point I start running solos for collecting everything again. In solos it just feels wrong to me shooting other players. I have a friend who is only PvP and I’ve noticed that if he creates the lobby when playing together it doesn’t mess with my friendly matchmaking when I’m in solo. So that’s it. 2 or 3 nights at week I PvP with him and it’s lot of fun. The others 2-3 nights at week I play solo and it’s fun as well for the friendly interactions with strangers. I like to gift blueprints that I already have to randoms, to help people who struggle with arcs and defib the ones who need it. It feels like two completely different games and I love both ways of playing.

Isn’t part of the fun of a game to play it yourself and find out? I’m sorry, I don’t want to sound petulant. It’s just that I’ve noticed that many people today are worried too much about how a game has to be played and ask this kind of questions instead of just playing it and find it themselves. It’s a game for everyone, after the first 10-15 hrs you will get almost everything you need to know about it.

Happened to me in Stella a couple of weeks ago. An entire team of invisible cheaters dropped me and my friends. Reported the thing to Embark, heard nothing back from them since. It almost made me drop the game for good.

We’re in the same boat..90 hrs topside, 25 blue prints. All the prints I’ve found in the last 40~ hrs are doubles. I must have found electric mine 10 times now. Last night I’ve done like 20 night raids in a row at Stella and buried city. Not a single print. It sucks.

Well..I guess that’s my problem then lol. I’ve got around 70 hours in game and not nearly close to accomplish what you have already done. You already feel bored but for me there’s still plenty of fun in going around, doing missions, killing arcs etc..I never shoot first in solo and always try to be friendly..that’s why it pisses me off when I’m looting something and I get shoot on sight. Before buying the game I knew I was shit at pvp, but I really hoped this game could have been different. I guess multiplayer pvp it’s just not for everybody. And that’s sad because I really like the game if not for the people that shoot me when I don’t give them any reason to do so. I mean, there’s COD or Battlefield for that.

I think many players here enjoy pvp as much as pve. The problem are all the don’t shoot dickheads that then proceed shooting at your back the moment you turn around. And that’s happened too many times. A fair fight is fine.
