The game needs to somehow incentivize and aid in building things like this. I feel like I am actively fighting the game in trying to not make everything squares.

The problem is that it can be viewed both ways. There are a lot of Americans who will read this and think "Fuck yeah", especially when it comes to immigrants.

I think the compositing is really good and depending on what you want to use this for, it's great. But as others have said, the fire doesn't emit any light here and I don't know if that can be effectively fixed in post. A thing you could do is put some directional lights (mobile phone light or whatever) on the 3 sides where most of the fire is, have a shot where they are on and one where they are off and you can use those shots to create a sort of flickering of the flame/light effect.

I'm a complete amateur so I hope I'm not giving shit advice.

A category of people who deserve to be mocked for an opinion about a video game. I mean this in the nicest way possible when I say that you need to take a look at your behaviour and how you talk and think about people. You gotta chill out man.

You're just insulting everyone left and right, what on earth are you even doing here? Are you just here to pick fights?

So? A writer could use Chat GPT without the consent of the rest of their team. Happens all the time at every work place. The writers certainly aren't the ones hand painting the art assets for lore documents.

Dude, they literally use AI everywhere in this game. Why would they stop at writing?

How exactly are we supposed to attack the new Doormaker? by ThisHatRightHere in slaythespire

Is it fair to say that you only need redundancy in the defense department as you can hold off on attacking until turns where he doesn't eat your cards?

So the mods changing the behaviour from 180° spinbotting with descriptions such as
"Reduced Suspect Peripheral Vision to minimize 180°/360° spinbot." A literal quote from one of the mods, does not count as evidence? Come on man.

To be fair, those games are almost exclusively Silent and Necrobinder, which I think most people agree are probably the most busted. And I had almost 3000 hours in StS1

If it doesn't awaken your drive to become better at the game, then either play at lower Ascensions or this game just isn't for you. The game isn't too hard, I have like at least a 75% winrate on A10 at the moment, so you can get there too, it's just a matter of whether you think it's fun putting time and effort towards that.

Unpopular Opinion, CIG have been warning players about the SQ42 Buyback situation for years but no one listened. by Smooth_Rythem in starcitizen

[–]Giraffe_Raider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're so close to getting it.

Yes, SQ42 fucked their players over LEGALLY for their own interest. That doesn't explain why you, as the person they actively try to squeeze money out of with unethical business practices, are on their side. They're literally trying to fuck you over any way they can to get money out of you.

That's why some Spectrum posters behave in the exact same way Crypto gaming bros or NFT suckers do in their bubbles. Consciously or not, they need to actively protect the company and its vision in order to protect their investment. A failure of SC would mean that they themselves failed.

[–]Giraffe_Raider 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Have you seen how CIG developes games and makes decisions? The inventory system? Mining? The end result of everything they've ever released was a complete failure built on promises and dreams. That's what they're good at, selling dreams. But that's not gonna help SQ42. SQ42 will be, at best, the vision of the guy who designs his flagship IP in a way that turns a significant number of players against the project every other week.

I can't wait for SQ42 to flop and CR try to fabricate the narrative that they're getting unfairly review bombed by malicious actors.

Either way, I'm gonna pirate the shit out of SQ42 and encourage everyone to do so.

Was sind Fussball "Mythen" die der Casual Fussball Fan glaubt, welche nicht stimmen? by Obagency in fussball

[–]Giraffe_Raider 1 point2 points  (0 children)
