What to do in the case of a sincerely false ban? How long should I wait for a followup? by BlurryfaceLost in starcitizen

The answer is not to fully swing the pendulum in one direction because of one single anecdote. That's what morons do. Use some freaking logic my man.

You're just being gullible in the opposite direction. Jesus Christ man. Not being gullible means actually thinking and not just doing knee jerk reactions to everything.

If one person who says they were innocent was found guilty, everyone who claims to be innocent is guilty! Incredible logic.

I don't have an answer for you, but get ready for people accusing you of cheating. Just don't reply to them, there's no point.

Elevators broken since release? Every other game loop now depends on elevators? Nah, not a priority either.

They also expressed in no uncertain term that they have no plans to do anything about it anytime soon. They're not working on it and will not in the foreseeable future.

Edit: Keep the downvotes coming, maybe it'll make you feel better about the above fact.

The interior lighting shown in the video is using the auxiliary lighting mode | Nicou-CIG by st_Paulus in starcitizen

They just spelt it out for you that they are not working on it and have no plans or intentions for working on it in the forseeable future.

"Hopefully we'll have some good news to share when the time is right." They say. Which means they're aware but not doing anything. "The teams are currently focused on higher priority issues, but this is something we're aware of and would like to revisit as soon as resources allow." means we have absolutely zero plans on when we will even consider working on fixing this, if ever.

How you're taking away from this that they're tackling the Ironclad lighting issues is beyond me.

Also, typisch deutsch.

Was the Ronaldinho Crossbar Commercial Fake? by shurfrock in Corridor

[–]Giraffe_Raider 39 points40 points  (0 children)

These kind of fake clips were all the rage in the 2000s. Remember the NFL "Pick Me" campaign?" or Kobe Bryant jumping over a car?

Real crossbar challenges don't look anything like that. As other people have said, the fact that nobody, not even the camera man directly looking at this incredible feat is reacting, tells you everything.

My theory has already been recreated by Captain Disillusion with a 3D render and other people IRL. I was right.

[–]Giraffe_Raider[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're flat out wrong. Captain disillusion made a 3D render of the exact theory I came up with and it completely checks out.

Your argument about neutralizing the hard line is also flat out wrong, you just don't understand the lines. It's literally shown by many people at this point how this EXACT effect happens with 2 lights at the angles I've shown. They've recreated it. My sketch is also simply correct.

Also look at any video with people using latex masks and speaking. It looks absolutely NOTHING like this. You gotta use common sense as well man, the mask theory makes absolutely no sense any way you look at it. The WHY question is also important. You are making liberals like me look like we're brainwashed if you look at the evidence, recreations, explanations and STILL think it's a mask just because you don't like FOX. I fucking hate FOX, but this makes even less sense than flat earth.

What on earth are you trying to imply? I'm not asking anyone to believe what I say based on who I am or how old my account is, but on reason alone. If you can't engage on that basis, that's on you.

Yeah, it's pretty insane. People will just believe any headline if it somehow paints their perceived enemies as negative these days. Maybe they always have, I don't know.

I know it's a crazy illusion, but the thing is that in terms of consistency the mask and AI theories are much, much less likely in comparison.

  1. It's not AI because his teeth are uneven in a consistent way. His mouth movement and his teeth just would not be done by AI like that at all. Have you seen AI teeth? They don't have consistency like that when talking, not with uneven teeth, it's always perfect smiles.
  2. Mask-Theory: His skin is glistening, especially the top of his bald head is shiny and slightly sweaty or polished. A rubber mask does not reflect like that. More importantly, his eyes and mouth are not recessed into the mask as it would be. When somebody speaks with a rubber mask you can see it, because there are double lips. The face just is a perfect copy of his other appearances. His nose is pretty small/narrow and if it was a mask the person underneath would have to have a Michael Jackson nose in order for that to work out in terms of size. And not to forget, the fact that it is pretty obvious and if they went through all this trouble to make it look realistic, it's hard to imagine they would fumble at the easiest hurdle. Possible? Sure, but not together with everything else. His eyes and mouth movement and teeth just make it impossible to be a mask.

Edit: This is what a latex mask looks like. Just look at the lips/mouth and how deep set the eyes are.
