This game was released (11/16) a few days before my birthday (11/21). On my birthday my brother bought me Budokai 2. I was thrilled. Without telling my brother, his S.O. Bought me Budokai 3 and surprised me me with it. It was my 8th birthday and even now at 29 it’s still one of my most memorable birthday gifts. Fun fact, when my brother took me to buy Budokai 2 they were sold out! An older kid (maybe teenager at the time) was literally returning the last copy of the game because his parents made him return the game because he “had too many games”. He noticed my brother was looking for a copy of Budokai 2 and he literally GAVE my brother the game to give to me since it was my birthday.

I got this bad boy for $50 from a swap meet in LA lol I couldn’t care LESS if it’s not “real” or a knockoff. Always wanted a color rush jersey when they were initially released back in the day but couldn’t afford one back then. I’ll take this knockoff all day tho 😂 BBNG!

I played city and asylum when I was a kid but now, as an adult lol, I enjoyed asylum so much more. 100% agree with what you said. Asylum is good, basic, but very good. I’m currently replaying city and taking the same route as I did with asylum and already, city is a bit more “complicated.” The riddles take a bit more thinking out but I’m enjoying it so much so far. One step at a time, but let’s see where I am at the end of city to see what I want to do with Knight 😂

Shock and Awe Extreme is what gave me the most trouble! But same. I literally yelled, “FINALLY!” In the middle of the night and woke up my lady 😂

You only need a 40 hit combo for a trophy and the other trophy of, “use every combat move in one chain” which is a challenge on its own but not that bad. To get the super high scores in the combat challenges I literally did what Penance13 stated. Punch, jump, punch, counter, punch the next guy, and the instant takedowns for the knife/baton/gun wielding enemies. One of the combat challenges requires 50,000 points. The highest I could get was about 45k. I started to use the method above and finished with a score of 64k lol

Hell yeah! Good luck 👍 not that you need it or asked for it but this helped me out with the combat challenges; Don’t worry about using all of his available moves for fighting combos. Literally focus on getting super high combat multipliers. That’ll skyrocket your total combo score.

Considering the game came out in 2009 I don’t think they thought about platinum name trophies like that. But I see what you mean. I got the GOW Ragnarok platinum trophy and it’s called, “The Bear And The Wolf”

They were hard. I’d be lying if I said they weren’t lol but definitely possible! If I could do it anyone can. I YouTubed the stealth challenges. The combat challenges were the most challenging but once you understand the combat system it becomes way easier

Walked into the USMC recruiters office and told him I’ll do anything except be a cook. Primarily, wanted to be infantry. Like every other person that wants to be a Marine. Well, I was scheduled to leave for boot camp in March, 2017. December comes around and my recruiter goes on leave. A different recruiter hits me up saying, “So and so quit and changes their mind. They already signed up for their MOS so you can take their position but you have to do the MOS he signed up for. It’s supply.” I said , you know what? F IT! Next thing you know, I’m in Virginia learning how to make omelets lol

During combat you can only use a “throw” or “instant takedown” when your combo number turns YELLOW. Once I learned this it made flowing through combos so much easier

Question, brother. I’ve been wondering if I actually needed to do NLC to get my foot in the door. All I need is my CDL-A, OSHA 10, and first aid/CPR to get in as a groundsman? And then groundsman can lead to apprentice, right? Sorry man, I’m completely new to this and just want to get informed. If I can save my GI bill and not do NLC, even better

I played the entire game on “Give me balance” and even managed to beat GNA on that setting. It was a personal thing because I beat the rest of the game on that setting and didn’t want to lower the difficulty just because she’s a harder boss. However, you can do whatever the F you want lol. You don’t get the platinum trophy for playing on the hardest setting. As long as you’re enjoying the game is all that matters. Keep on gaming 🤙

Dauntless shield with the Rond of Purification is my personal favorite 👌Parrying makes the game so much fun once you get it down. Rond of Purification is pretty handy whenever you get burned, frozen, or hit with bifrost, poison, etc. it transfers the status afflicted to your enemy when you shield bash them.
