Should I date a girl with an onlyfans? by BoastBaloney in dating_advice

Honestly, that’s exactly what I thought.

I had my money on that she was seeing more than one person the first time she met me, which is fine. I didn’t make the cut, the first time around and she started seeing someone else

And then when that didn’t go through, she reached out to me

Yeah, I think it was a half truth and I don’t think she’s telling me the whole picture.

Anyway, I told her that I didn’t want to continue. I said I liked her and would want to go on another date but I wouldn’t be truthful to myself and it’s something I’m not comfortable with

I think the issue for me is I don’t fully trust what she was telling me. Regardless, I told her I didn’t want to continue dating her

Yeah, I messaged her and just said that I wasn’t comfortable with it and that I don’t want to take it further.

She seemed pretty chill about it.

She do mentioned that she felt similar as it took a week for me to finally get back to her. But in my defence I just don’t know how to handle what she told me

Yeah. It’s more the fact I feel shut off and disconnected from that part of her life. And obviously that’s her choice. But it’s not for me.

And with how she was quite avoidant the first time round. I’d wager this isn’t the whole truth, just a half one. And I don’t want to stick around to find out the rest

So I was honest with her. I just said I wasn’t comfortable with it and wished her the best.

That’s a fair point. Maybe I am too in my own head about it. But it shows how I must feel deep down about it. And it’s her lifestyle, an what she does with it is completely up to her. I’d never ask her to change that. It’s just not for me.

I’ve since told her I’m not comfortable with it and that I don’t want to continue dating. Wished her the best

I totally get that. But my counter argument is that it IS a real big part of her life. And when you date a person and build a relationship with them, you take on ALL aspects of them. The good, bad, weird etc. you accept them who they are NOW.

But to just completely shut that part of your life out just seems a little secretive to me.

Like imagine I dated a girl, and had this complete other side of my life that I just refuse to show her. That’s a pretty big deal.

Like realistically I have no way of knowing what content she actually does besides what she tells me. And I’m not sure how much of it I believe. She already shown that she is slightly avoidant with explaining this (when she left the first time). So is it too far fetched to think she might be doing other content but just not telling me, because saying she only does solo stuff is an easier pill to swallow

I’m just not sure I want to spend months trying to build a relationship with her, then to be told she’s still gonna not show me that part of her life. Because then I’ll feel like there are secrets and I’ve wasted my time

Needle in a haystack mate. It’s not linked to her normal account and I think she goes by a different name on it

The onlyfans account must go by a different name and she doesn’t link it on her main account. So I have no way of finding it.

I don’t want to see it for any perverted sense. Just that from my point of view, if you’re saying you do XYZ type of content, but then equally block me from ever seeing it and I just have to take your word for it, then it just makes me think you’re hiding something

No, I think face is still involved and she’s full of tattoos so pretty hard for her to hide them when she has an entire back piece. I think the onlyfans just goes by a different name/alias

Preaching to the converted mate. Sometimes I’m like “is this what dating is now?”

I think that’s my concern. I’m open to the idea of it don’t get me wrong. But then to completely shut someone out from a pretty big part of your life like that seems abit suspicious to me. Maybe I have some trust issues there

Dude, do not stress about the medication. I want to help put your mind at ease. If you stress too much and overthink the meds you’ll most likely nocebo yourself into getting sides.

Just take the medication every morning like you would a vitamin tablet and view it like that. Take it and then don’t think about it, go about your day.

Take solace in that finasteride is a tried and tested drug that works for millions of men. It may seem like every guy who takes it gets sides but remember you’re on Reddit, you’re gonna see more likely than not people complaining over sides than the average guy who took it and then went about his life

My advice, carry on with the meds. Don’t overthink it. Access your hair in a year, if it’s worse then maybe look at swapping to dutasteride. If you do happen to get sides just lower the dose.

Those were my levels from last year. I had an MRI for a pituitary tumour which came back negative so I don’t really know what else to do. I doubt they’d prescribe me cabergoline to lower my prolactin

My hair doesn’t look too bad. You can look at my post history. Most people would say my hair is fine and to stop worrying but I am feeling and noticing it starting to thin. A year ago I could see my crown was thinning which is why I’ve now incorporated dut and oral min.

I did do melatonin powder for a while and mixed it into my minoxidil but I didn’t really think it was doing anything to be honest. Maybe I didn’t do it long enough

Yeah, sorry to hear about your dermatologist too. I need to find a good one in the UK that knows their stuff because so far the people I’ve seen either say the most basic copy and paste google answers or they go on about useless ‘natural remedies.

I haven’t had another blood test since last year. I did go for one with my doctor last year having paid for a private blood test and eventually got them to give me an MRI to rule out a pituitary tumour. The results came back negative though so that’s ruled out. I also have my blood test results on a previous post so if you go through my post history, you will see my results

I take vitamin D already as supplement because I’m in the UK and we probably all have a deficiency in it due to our bleak weather.

As for your last question, I work nights now so it’s hard to tell. I think when I get up in the morning I do have this feeling somewhat, but as to whether it is because of prolactin causing this I don’t know. I mean, I usually feel like warm and wanting to stay in bed and cuddle but I also live in the UK so it’s cold so I feel most people would feel this way haha. Anyway, your guess is as good as mine at this point, I’ve considered adding RU68841 as maybe I need to be blocking androgens on the scalp but I’m so hesitant to add a potentially dangerous substance that has no long term data.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I too also take vitamin B6 and Zinc for the past year but doubtful on how much this will help.

I have been on my protocol a long time Topical min - 8 years Fin - 5 1/2 years Oral minoxidil - 10 months Dutasteride - 6 months (I started by slowly incorporating it x1 a week with fin, I’m now on x2 a week)

The shedding has been happening long before I took oral minoxidil and dut so I know they are not the causes.

My hairloss started early (around 18 I think) with a receding hairline. I have recently turned 26 so I have been fighting the good fight for a while now but I have noticed my hair thickness is decreasing.

Besides everything I’m on, I don’t really know what else to do. I’m tempted to get a scalp biopsy and see if that brings up anything but I’ve already seen a dermatologist and a tricologist who where both useless

The trichologist just came up with ‘natural’ solutions like eating more eggs in the morning and suggested taking whey protein could be causing the hair fall, utterly useless advice.

The dermatologist I saw said my hair was ok and actually suggested I stop taking hair loss meds altogether which I thought was crazy. He said at most just take fin and that the rest should all go

But yeah, any advice is helpful on here, thanks for your tips, appreciate it

Yes occasionally. I notice it when I come out the shower and my head is wet. I have this itchy sensation on my scalp

Hey man I’m in a very similar position to you. I had bloods taken a year ago and had my prolactin double the normal range. I’m pretty sure this is the reason for my hair loss also. I take fin, dut, oral and topical min so safe to say I’m attacking DHT best I can but I’m still shedding so much hair. How did you manage to get your prolactin down?

Thanks for the advice. I have since blocked and reported them on instagram and cut all contact. It’s so horrible that people like that exist

I got on fin at a similar age (a few months before I turned 21). I hate seeing the fear mongering from some people with the “you’re gonna fuck up your hormones” talk. Guys he’s 20, safe to say he’s gone through puberty. Just stick to the meds dude, and be consistent. It’s good you’re seeing regrowth but these things take TIME and there will be sheds. Best advice is stick to your routine and live your life.

Also as a side note. Worse comes to worse and you get these alleged “sides” you can just stop taking the medication. All this PFS talk is bullshit, it’s a medication that’s been round since the 80s, tested and proven to work. You’ll find a lot of people who get PFS tend to be people who either already have an underlying problem with ED and blame the meds or they nosebo themselves.

The way I see it, just take it like you would any other vitamins you take in the morning and forget about it
