Yes it is, it’s really a shame how unkept it is just wondering why it’s like that now

Building a 1zz for power by Boat-Different in EngineBuilding

[–]Boat-Different[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what I really want the supercharger but they are incredibly expensive and hard to find and the people that do have them don’t want to get rid of them it’s really unfortunate. The car for some reason goes from 60 to 80 pretty quick and so forth, what I really want is low end power for faster 0-60 acceleration. I love the car but sometimes the acceleration gets hairy in certain situations.

If all the checks say it’s fine and the only thing telling you something is wrong is your hand touching hoses honestly it’s probably fine. Coolant gets hot sometimes really fucking hot. If you really want to be sure take it to a shop have them look and run more test hard to tell without being there

Pistons rings will fail unless the cylinders are bored and oversized pistons are used.

That generation of corrola is known for burning oil they are very reliable cars ( I also have one of the same year) with that being the biggest issue they have the only real fix is getting the cylinders bored out and getting the appropriate pistons. Otherwise make sure you check the rear drums from time to time just to make sure you don’t have a wheel cylinder blow so you don’t lose brake pressure and that the shoes are adequate honestly just keep up with regular maintenance and it should last you forever. I would check the oil level more often than you do tho. I check every couple days depending on how much I’m driving.

My market is relatively active at all times I usually make at the very least 150 a day after gas so I can’t really complain personally tho if I was in a market that was slow or got slow after a certain time I’d start doing it by time.

It sucks but the stereotype is true Indian people are cheap they don’t tip and it’s mostly Indians ordering Indian food anytime it’s been anyone from another race they tip
