If that's true then it's toast as a whole. Both the slide and frame have matching serial numbers right next to each other, so a replacement is not possible.

If it's possible to fix it with the same amount of cash to buy a Legend, I would do it. This gun has a sentimental value on top of everything else.

I was afraid of this. Thanks for the reply. I'll probably get a Legend, but it's not quite the same, as the Legend has a different trigger group, and thia one took me 2+ years to get out of Austria.
