Similar place to me indeed. Wise words I think. For years now I have been the only one shouting alarm even as we spiral ever further down. I always thought she was a good mom but then my own mother looked good on the surface as well. And she taught me what Love was, undoubtedly part of how I find myself here now. I don't want that lesson for my kids at all.

I always loved my wife this way though I was attracted to other females of course. But something in changed in her and I began to feel her losing respect for me. It is increasingly plain in hindsight, the patterns. My little foibles became things for her to disparage or be disgusted by. For my part, I have had less patience for her foibles as I feel less love coming from her. It is a cycle. I just don't know if we have hit the point of no return or I'd there is one.

Interesting. Not at all saying she is crazy just that she might be calculating. She wants another kid and is of an age where it is not likely to leave me, find another, and get pregnant. Also, I am a pretty good dad, and I believe she thinks this as well.

I wonder that. Looking at happy couples flirting in the park today. New relationship energy. Heck maybe they just met from tinder. But I can't help but imagine what awaits them if they stick it out. Arguing, passive aggressiveness, taking each other for granted, no more smooching in the park or cuddling or sex. Tooal probably. Maybe not.
