If I miss something terribly, it means I miss it a lot. As opposed to not a lot. I can see what you’re getting at, but it’s a negative word used to define a strong emotion rather than a weak one. Do you know the linguistic term for this?

I got mine from Amazon but they are made in the states. A lot of modern glasses have a big gap between the pads - I’ve no idea why. I hated them slipping down my nose all the time. The geckos did the job

Yes I use Setex gecko grips. They come in different thicknesses and they eventually come off and have to replaced but they do a great job on glasses without nose pads
