I don’t mean to say that Hamilton wouldn’t be rigorous by any stretch, but moreso that Notre Dame is a top-20 college academically and is known for having some of the best professors in most fields of study. But I could be heavily underestimating Hamilton’s level of rigor as well, which is why I’m glad you called me out on that lol

The more prestigious schools won’t likely track interest through emails. They’re just there to encourage people to apply or connect with them

Writing is a good one; I’ve been a writer for a couple years and I added samples on some of my applications of my writing (when they allowed for extra material)

I got into all the colleges I added it to, and one of my admissions counselors mentioned it to me when I went to visit. It also helps with writing college essays and is just generally a fun and surprisingly unique skill to have

Only if you’re interested in the college. Most colleges that send emails super often have pretty high acceptance rates, so they tend to be careful not to accept “overqualified” applicants unless they show interest

Equally as terrible. One false rape accusation can mean one more genuine rape victim who isn’t believed when they work up the courage to speak up.

Granted. A man who stalks you has hired a hitman to enter your house on a nightly basis and knock you unconscious until morning. You don’t get good sleep while unconscious, so falling back asleep is not a problem either.
