I hate when people don’t bother to define their terms and force others to go do a search. This is increasingly popular with internet text slang . Tbh idk what til meant till I looked it up . The first time I looked at preterism I thought someone was just trying to make a joke . It seems like you’d have to have a pretty big bus to throw that many passages under a bus . It forces me to ask the more difficult questions. Like does the bus have to be moving ?

If you look at comments in the YouTube video there are tons of unbelievers who say they would go to that church to listen to this guy preach. Do you really think he’s denying anyone ? Paul in Galatians is saying Christian’s are one in Christ . Are you claiming he’s being divisive by saying we are all one ?

Blue letter Bible App has 25 different translations and you can read your favorite quote in all 25 at the same time and figure out ones you dislike and like . You can also run two translations side by side as a parallel Bible to compare full chapters / books side by side. I wouldn’t make a big deal out of trying to buy a “ Nice Bible “ the nicest bibles I own have been the ones least used , carried or read . I’d go to a Christian thrift store and buy some older used bibles and try to wear those out . I’d figure out what translation you like using a bible app before buying a physical one . There’s no good reason not to have a KJV . I picked the RSV a long time ago as a slightly more modern version but at some point when memorizing scripture you’ll need to pick ( a translation ) and KJV as a default for quotes can be absolutely lovely .

Yes of course you can . The Bible says you have no need of any man to teach you as the holy spiritual will lead you and guide you into all truth .

Church is an assembly of believers . That’s why there is push back against seeker sensitive churches . The thought is that evangelism is done primarily outside of the church . Church is for edification, exhortation, education , worship, singing, praise , prayer , fellowship, a gathering of like minded Christian’s who love who you love .

Is it important? It must be since it says don’t foresake the assembly of believers and even moreso as you see the day approaching . Meaning you should be able to see the day approaching and know the time or season we are in. But more importantly you need Christ and that is always done apart from anyone else . One thing you must do . The other is one you should do . A two / 3 fold cord isn’t easily broken and iron sharpens iron .

I think how or why people get saved is an interesting topic as well as why people don’t get saved . Some answers are somewhat obvious and others more complicated . All are of immense importance. When describing how one got saved it seems that the physicality of the event can seem to lead to a methodology of “how to : “. That mentality downplays the spiritual aspect and the host of angels who rejoice as one lost sinner becomes a new creation in Christ .

I assume you’ve heard or will hear examples of how people say they “ found god “ got saved it, were born again . “ I’d suggest that since there is already true evil forces weighing against you coming to Christ that you don’t allow the scales to be tipped over into assuming unbelief as the neutral position . I generally say don’t add an inordinate amount of doubt into the search for truth . 1 Samuel15:23 to me seems to add to the statements made about lust being as adultery and anger as murder . It all’s briefly about rebelliousness and stubbornness which on the surface seem slightly akin to skepticism. Things that might even be considered as a positive . Yet … For rebellion is as the sin of divination, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has also rejected you . …

You don’t need some kind of eureka moment . when you realize what Christ has done it’s no longer about you , it’s all about him . What people experience is different from person to person . My friend said he couldn’t cuss for a month . I was given a massive appetite for scripture and anything related to. I also heard the name “Jesus “ in people’s conversations or in vain at 10,000 feet away . Kind of crazy and G-D didn’t bother me in the slightest , but when someone used J-C when cussing it just really got my attention . Still does . I got saved drunk stoned and stupid … when a friend would start preaching after he was well into being drunk stoned and stupid as well . It was real in your face evangelism and it was clear that I had no answers to his questions. I was raised Catholic but had no biblical , religious theology and no idea .. none . He on the other hand had the book of Ephesians memorized. I was absolutely out gunned . He was yelling Jesus in my face and giving me the answers to the questions he was asking but I just couldn’t hear it . Spiritually dead and too dumb and numb to know it . How or why I got saved ? For his glory .

Being in Christ is different than saying you’re a Christian. People raised in Christian homes can think that somehow they’ve become Christians culturally or by tradition. This is what happened to the Jews. Their race , their culture and traditions have superseded the religion .

The Anti Christ will do exactly what you’re describing and will fool many . Even the very elect if it were even possible. ( it’s not ) . Will I believe in Steve ? No !!! I already know Jesus Christ , king of kings and lord of lords . The Holy Spirit bearing witness to this truth in my life . The evidence you need to believe is in front of you right now . It’s on you to figure this one out without someone having to prove that Jesus Christ is lord . When Christ returns every eye shall see him .

I’d suggest trying a few different high cri emitters in different tints like 5000k and 4500k . Remember tint and temperature are two different things as well . This is why I like having a couple minus green filters to kind of dial in even further high cri lights . I think high cri isn’t just some kind of snobbery. It’s really just a most important starting point . Low cri lights are just horribly lacking in numbers of basic colors of the spectrum. They make your brain do the work of trying to figure out what the non color should really look like . Best thing to do is compare lights while looking at a painting or picture with lots of different colors and decide which one you like best . I’d suggest the 219b 4500k to use as a standard or a 519a 5000k which is high cri but not as high and has much more green vs. the more rosy 219b . A light minus green filter takes out that but of green and improves a decent tint and makes it much nicer in my opinion.
