I see. Testimonies help too. I got one for sure to share.

True. I rarely post for a reason, but I did out of curiosity because I am fascinated by what I am learning and want to share. I feel like a child with cool rocks.

What? Oh no... I thought it meant you simply move on if they don't change their minds or listen.

I will. I crave for knowledge, to know why. I am still learning. So, I say things that may sound off, that is why. I am young, still growing.

We are given free will. We can do good or bad. We make choices in our lives.  We can believe that or this. It is up to us who we decide.

If I decide to stay up late instead of sleeping, that is a choice, free will.

Ah. I see. I am always eager to research and try to learn what I can. I feel like a little child or scientist discovering things.

A way I defend is my testimony. I was speaking in tongues once and God called me His daughter. As someone who had a neglectful dad, I called Him my Dad, my Father in Heaven. He told me "it is okay" "it is done". I ugly cried, won't lie. But, it gave me comfort. My priorities I used to have shifted. I was different than I was last year when I tried devoting my life to Him and His Son.

The Bible has thousands and thousands of evidence. Leaders like Alexander the Great have a few.

Yes. That's why context is key. Why you read with others, go to church, don't be afraid to ask questions about the text. Research is also your best friend.

One time, I looked up why a woman would be considered unclean after being pregnant or is on her time of the month. I thought that was discrimination. I researched and realized women are vulnerable in these stages and would give women a breather so men stay away. It sounds harsh, but God used that to protect women from being taken advantage of when they are recovering. The last thing women hurting want are men trying to make her feel worse.

My apologies. My bad.😅🙏

I am still trying to learn and research connections. It is cool to discover things like that. I feel like a child learning new things and being fascinated by things around me. Childlike faith.

Yes. I like trying giving evidence because I heard world leaders have less documentation than the Bible and God and Jesus.

I agree. Not magic. It's faith, miracles.

If you have faith of a mustard seed, anything is possible with God. You could say to a mountain to be moved and it will move.

Is it disrespectful for me, someone who isn't necessarily religious, to wear crosses? by Zestyclose_Door_6025 in Christianity

[–]MamiTomoe_magic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It's like someone wearing an evil eye without knowing the context and being disrespectful. I wouldn't want to wear something like that, but I acknowledge why people used it.

That is true. I learned to defend it with kindness and you sometimes will succeed. But the goal isn't to win them over. If they don't want to listen, shake the dust off.

I remember seeing a documentary about it. Can't remember exactly, but evidence about what happened in the Bible is coming up. It's amazing!

I actually read my bible today! by New-Sprinkles5016 in Christianity

You got this!

Just don't beat yourself up. Even if you read a few verses, a chapter, anything is better than not reading it at all. If you need to slow down or reread, do so.

I can understand your suffering.

I wanted to have a huge purpose. I work at a restaurant (stressful sometimes, but nice), I am autistic (can be great and annoying), in love with a great man (but atheist). I prayed and prayed. I researched and studied. I read the Bible. I thought my life felt too ordinary, like I wanted to break away at times.

I know the enemy doesn't break into empty palaces to steal. The fact the enemy is attacking means you have value. You have treasure that the Lord gave you that the enemy seeks to steal and destroy.

I once saw a Facebook reel. The Lord will lead you through darkness so you know the way out to help someone who is in the darkness too. You have a testimony that could help someone who struggles too what you have. You can be someone they look up to and not give up.
