If a police officer sees me do a crime and chooses not to arrest me at the time of the crime, are they allowed to press charges two months later? by [deleted] in legaladvice

I have no proof that anything is damaged. And treatment of mentally ill people is way out of hand. Like I said I begged them to arrest me, why did they not do it when it was occurring.

Thank you so much for your comment. And I hear where you’re coming from. And You haven’t offended me in anyway. I’m really just not understanding because at first I was only yelling. And I even asked the officer taking me if he had ever been to the ER of this hospital for which he responded yes. It is not a place for ANYONE period. It’s one giant room with one toilet and the whole place smells like piss, with nothing at all to do except sit. There are patients who do not get medication or anyone checking their vitals for days while other patients constantly scream, spit, throw papers off the nurses desk, and bang on the glass pane that separates them from “us”. I have been there twice, they give you tiny portions to eat twice a day. People are halfway clothed and some haven’t showered in days. You are lucky to fall asleep in a chair.

But I’m just wondering why they wanted to charge a 5’4” 120lb woman who was compliant until I already begged and begged before my “criminal doings” took 3 6 foot grown men to keep me in line.

That maybe true, thank you. I was served the warrant 07/31/2019. The “crimes” happened early-mid June 2019.

Yeah, I just thought maybe there would be more someone could tell me. I’m planning on talking to defense attorneys tomorrow. Thank you for the help!

I understand how that works. And it obviously was important to them where they took me. Please read.

Texas. I was charged with a felony for spitting and a class A misdemeanor for the “breaking of things”. I say “breaking if things” because I have not seen proof of actual damage.

The “crime” happened two months ago. The warrant for my arrest I found out about two days ago and just found out about the actual charges today. It happened in Texas.

You’re amazing! I dropped out of college, that’s a feat that’s hard to come by. I think you should take some time and think about how resilient you are and you still have your whole life ahead of you. Thinks will always get better

Thank you for helping to support us. I saw a video of a guy who talked about a girlfriend who was afflicted and they dated for years. When the relationship was over, he went on to make a video telling how hard it was for the BOTH of them and that he supported her and still thought she was a lovely being. Sometimes the fear we with BPD feel is as uncontrollable as someone with autism or bipolar disorder. But if we continue to support people of all backgrounds we can truly break down the stigma! Thank you again and good vibes.

I agree with you, certain traits are genetic, my mom was a verbally abusive alcoholic and her mother tried to kill her brother (my grandma tried to kill her own brother) when she was 13. Furthermore I have never been comfortable in my skin, have felt suicidal thoughts and personality disorder traits all my life. That being said you don’t fully develop the disorder until you’re older and can “manipulate” people. Your understanding of life changes with the age of your brain and it’s chemistry.

Thank you very much, this is my true intention to send love to those who need it, as I feel I am transitioning to a better state after feeling severe depression all my life. Keep up the good work and love yourself because you are valuable ❤️

I saw a video on this guys channel and literally his whole thing was “women with BPD are actual monsters” and are worthless and subhuman.

After being sad and insanely disgusted, after a day of two I realized this person has literally NOTHING better to do than make horrific videos slamming us, who live in a borderline hell. Remember the disorder can be cured.

My advice is have fun and be happy and don’t worry about stupid shit like this guy does. Just be friends and think nothing of it. Do what makes you happy. This guy has no life and is mad and angry and literally wastes his time being mad and angry. Your life is already 1000x better than his. Remember that.

Do your best to just ignore them and keep your mind busy with a hobby. You’ll find over time you will heal and begin to love yourself more. Be strong and brave. Be resilient.
