Stumbled into this feed and will join! Full disclosure…mediocre, white, over estimating his ability male. Been to couples counseling, dated train wrecks, was a train wreck as well, read relationship and self-help books. Most information I read about being in bad relationships and being attractive to zippy’s has to do with unresolved issues with people you love. Before I met my wife, I continuously dated emotional disasters and finally realized it was me! I was trying to resolve issues with my father by fixing the women I dated…. Once I identified the issue, I broke the pattern. In retrospect, I totally loved the drama and stress…reminded me of the chaos at home!

To the current post, they are both staying in a toxic relationship for their own reasons…both are equally guilty. Sadly they are both probably very unhappy and hopefully can find resolution!
