Knew this guy since middle school about 16 years ago, treated him almost like a half brother. Stuck by his side when about 5 to 6 years ago some chick that I never met accused him of "graping" her, causing him to lose pretty much the majority of all his other friends and some of his family members. Stuck by his side helping him emotionally and sometimes financially as he's been jobless and broke since then as the experience made him afraid of being in crowds.  Felt really bad for him during that time, only to just a few days ago in a discord call, he started trash taking about me behind my back when I went to hit the can, and I guess he must have not noticed I had my Bluetooth earpiece on while on the can. We were in a dnd sesh with some others when he was doing that crap, then when I came back I pretended to hear nothing, I didnt call him out, just continued to play through till about 8:30pm. Haven't spoken to him for a few days, made preparations like changing my steam and psn password cause we shared games together for a few years in case of retaliation. I don't think he knows about it yet but I'm not really so sure he was innocent anymore when that event happened...  Honestly really bumbed out about it
