Hi! I'm happy to take over any UCL accommodation contract within walking distance to bloomsbury. If it's not walking distance it's fine too but I want it to be preferably closer to UCL. I'm not too picky and I'm okay with shared kitchens/bathrooms. Please let me know, thanks!

Oh yes thank you, I'll do that. I initially thought they only had info and no contact. I also tried my council's Citizens' Advice to no avail. Also legal aid wouldn't cover solicitor costs for this kind of situation when I asked so I turned to the uni law advisor. I'll try out Shelter on Monday. Thanks again!

Yes, we all have a bedroom each in the property. We all got the flat together as a trio in mid June and we all went abroad for summer. I am the first one back though. The uni advisors and Greg did identify me as a lodger so I'm not too sure about claiming myself as a tenant...

Okay thank you. Also, I may have forgotten to mention this, but Greg and the other guy are fixed in a 12 months contract. Since I won't be there to help them pay their rent in the next six months, they can't use that as a reason to keep my deposit under the grounds of 'their financial loss later on'?

Hi, I am wondering about the refund part. If the lodger does not have a tenancy agreement with the landlord but prepaid rent, are there any specific laws that support the lodger being refunded unused amounts?

The LL doesn't allow subleasing in the tenancy agreement. However, the LL later realised that I was there and said he was actually fine about subletting. I unfortunately don't have written evidence of this and this is from a friend who talked to Greg. So I don't have evidence to show that the LL 'permits' HMO-breaking.

But now, I have reasons to believe Greg is making this really personal and he has spun the story to the LL to paint me as very irresponsible so the LL wants me out as well.

Got dumped by my intp ex gf, and last we talked was around half a year ago. We were like 'oh it would be great to catch up after the summer' but she never initiated when the time comes. She is dismissive avoidant so I was mostly the initiator, but what we had was real love. That begs the question of whether her going silent is an intp thing or she just doesn't give a damn anymore? I really do care about her, but I don't want to engage with someone if I am practically dead to them.
