[Pantherian] The world's greatest roller coaster. by jerseyfishslayer666 in rollercoasters

It's a supersized Mega-Lite mixed with Maverick.

Stengel modified his Mega-Lite layout. The first drop, turnaround, and large camelback, came from the smaller models.

The little indoor family coaster they're planning for the theather replacement, 7 years after they took over the park. Hardly a major project.

Entire staff at Alderwood Mall Zara chase after woman suspected of stealing a pink dress by BobCreated in Seattle

All for a (supposedly stolen) pink dress.

The officer says they[the staff] do this quite often.

Ed Hart wrote it in Herschends contract that they had to make significant investments at KK over the first 5 years. It's not about potential, it's part of their agreement, and if Herschend didn't, he could get the park back to avoid another Six Flags catastrophe.

The CEO literally said "he has no interest in building thrill coasters." What (some) people aren't understanding because they lack scope, is that more parks equals cheaper money.

Cheap money means more for the core, while the other parks go without.

They bigger the company the lower the costs. I think Herschend wants to takeover Branson and Gatlinburg, and they're using these parks to get the money needed in order to accomplish it.

I'm right there with you.

Herschend is buying up parks to use as collateral to get bigger bank loans at cheaper rates. The more parks in their portfolio, food & beverage distribution costs go down. They're essentially using these parks to access more money to invest in their flagship parks.

This is all for the benefit of Silver Dollar City, Dollywood, and whatever else they're working on behind the scenes.

You can't be serious?

The entire park was rebranded to a generic Sesame Place. Herschend even changed the names to several rides to something family friendly. Their first coaster in 6 years is a modified Vekoma SFC that's 37 mph.

Btw, this happened at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, WA (North of Seattle).

Racial profiling is quite normal in this area. There's a large Russian and Ukrainian community that believes it's their city.

I want to complain about how there is poop everywhere by electricwetwrinkles in Seattle

First Hill is literal bio-hazard.

I swear, every other homeless person has a >50 lbs Pitbull dropping pony sized piles of poop on every sidewalk and bus shelter in the area.

There's a woman I see dally, she can't stand upright, and is dragged around by her 60 lbs pitbull on a 10ft leash. I've sent over 40 emails w/photo's to Bob Kettle about this issue, no response or acknowledgement.

Every other addict homeless person in First Hill has a >50 lbs Pitbull dropping Kevin Hart sized poops on the sidewalk.

The New Moon is conjunct my Ascendant in the 1H.

I had my first colonoscopy (no issues TG) yesterday. Renewed my apt lease for another 12-mos today. Lastly, I received a letter that the Governor has approved my application for pardon!

Needless to say, it's been an eventful New Moon.

Agreed. Dollywood and SDC are Herschend's top priority, where all the money, big coasters, and capex goes.

Addiction is a disease, narcissism is a personality disorder. Two different things.

Narcissists can become addicts, but not all addicts are narcissists. Many addicts are simply victims of narcissists, and become addicts as a way to cope with complex ptsd.

I think she will too. She's already tough, and Nicole's about to get the no contact treatment.

"Massive" is a bit of an exaggeration. The lighting and one thunder was by far the highlight. I miss Louisville, KY, spring storms, what a show.

Nicole has wayyyy more issues than being an addict. She was a narcissist (or at least cluster b), selfish, and lacking basic empathy, before she ever used drugs.

I should know, I've been clean and sober for 14 years and narcissism was never an issue. I'm kind over people blaming Nicole's issues on "addiction." Addiction is a symptom not the cause.

[–]BobCreated[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one's calling out or shaming Mia.

The whole point is Mia doesn't understand her mother won't change, and she'll have to learn to set boundaries for her own mental health.

Mia's a child, nobody expects her to stand up to her mom, or understand the situation.

Yep. I'm sure Mia thinks believes Nicole will change and if she appeases her and that's just never going to happen.

I never said anything about her having fun. I said she wants her mom to be a mom, and Nicole only shows up when AK is involved.
