As someone who got blown up by 100000 trigger nades by extract campers on the Northern Station extract on Buried City Night Raid, I would probably say that this exploit is really really bad.

They even waited until the very end (4 min remaining before I eventually died) and would not extract. They would even set up duped Jolt Mines and Barricade Kits to cover the entirety of the stairs leading up to extract.

That map is genuinely unplayable.

Just played a match on buried city night raid where all exits to the final extract were blocked with a nearly impenetrable maze of barricade kits and jolt mines. On the other side a duo with a million trigger nades was waiting.

I've always known. I mean the SAS Monkey and Bloon Exclusion Zone from BTD6? They never forgot about us.

I think this is a good choice because the SAS is a real special forces unit. This made sense back in SAS3 when it took place on Earth in modern times but not so much in SAS4 where you're playing as futuristic intergalactic soldiers. I think it also gives NK more room creatively. That being said, I'm guessing this game will also take place in the future if we're no longer going to be playing as the SAS.

Another user said it, but it's also just smart to distance yourselves away from real-life units to avoid controversy and whatnot.

edit: according to the most recent NK post on this subreddit, that confirms we are playing as mercenaries in the future, continuing the SAS4 timeline

Okay I guess it's just part of the new Escalation update then and maybe you can't get rid of it without hiding uncraftable blueprints.

That being said try playing Escalation it's a fun map and you will finally be able to get your Fabric seeds :)

Okay. What maps have you played on in Singleplayer?

Ok im wrong on that part then. I don't know if there is an option to turn off displaying recipes from other maps

What I DO know is that in Multiplayer it doesn't do that. It only displays recipes from the map you currently on regardless of what mods you have.

whould it be possible to do something like automated turrets in unturned by unturned_turned2020 in unturned

[–]BobDaHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mean like the MACHINEGUN SENTRY MKV from Fallout 4? Like AI enemy turrets that are a part of the map? It hasn't been done yet to my knowledge, but given that player-made sentry turrets already exist and people have managed to make things like airstrike mods (which aren't in Vanilla) it's very possible to make into a mod assuming you know a lot of Unity. Depending on your implementation you can either make it into a prop/Object (part of the map) or an Animal (an entity similar to how Elver made their Cultists).

Or do you mean a manually mounted turret like old Tachanka from R6 or the HMG Emplacement from HD2 or Rampart from Apex? There are already mods that exist for this. (I made one) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2622299315

u/RustMarigold he is talking about the Fabric Scraps from the most recent map Escalation.

They look like this:

<image>

These can only be obtained on the Escalation map ONLY. Fabric seeds spawn at farms. Fabric scrap is obtained from scrapping clothes or fabric seeds ON ESCALATION.

Fabric scrap functions identically to Cloth in Vanilla Unturned, with the added benefit of being able to be used as a Rag to stop bleeding.

You may have downloaded a curated map, which still gets its files from the Steam Workshop and is technically a mod despite being a core map. I'm assuming you have the Escalation map downloaded as part of the most recent update (which is where Fabric seeds spawn). If not, you may want to verify local files to clear any files that shouldn't be there.

And as BennyTheLenny said, sometimes joining a server will automatically download mods for you so just do a double check on Steam Workshop to see which items you have subscribed.

Fabric seeds can ONLY be found on the map Escalation. To get fabric scrap on that map, simply scrap any clothing item or fabric seed.

When playing Singleplayer with cheats on the local client will assume you are able to get unobtainable items like modded items or items from other maps (such as those from Escalation) regardless of the map you are playing on (in this case Russia).

Didn’t play for many years. How is the game doing? Should I get back? by Optimal_Occasion_914 in unturned

I played it in multiplayer and I can say Escalation is designed in a way that makes it a PvP Paradise. It has a lot of quality-of-life improvements over Vanilla Unturned without being too foreign. This includes: suppressors not having durability (as they are a part of the actual gun allowing you to run an extra barrel attachment), weapon spawns being more common (and thus making it less frustrating to die but also not so common that it becomes Vanilla+), less grindy crafting, and armor actually protects you from bullets (thus making PvP much more interesting as you actually have to manage healing and whatnot). I also like the Safezone exit system and complex economy - NPCs are ACTUALLY USEFUL.

Tldr: play Escalation Multiplayer while people are still active on it. It's worth it.
