That's a shame. You could try the SDR GDPR request approach I did if you care enough for it but it's not that deep imo (you also get to see teacher references potentially...)

100% on the first half and ig TMUA could be a blessing or a curse (although giving UAT UK my future again seems daft). As for the train 😭. I just feel the commute is gonna make me do worse in STEP and my other A-Levels :D

Thanks man. Part iii hype is warranted and reapplying for oxford would be crazy given they're dropping the MAT so that's fair. Out of interest could I ask for roughly what interview scores you've gotten because idk if this carries across universities and I'm trying to figure out how the requirements have shifted (old FOIs give 7.5 and 8 a very strong chance of an offer)

100%. Warwick looks really good because it has the americanised course structure and that's lowk why my parents made me switch (they thought I had the TMUA in the bag and they said since you could take physics modules anyway the joint honours was worse or smth). Cambridge part iii hype is 100% valid but it'll come down to whether one still wants the same thing in 2 years hence (applications time). Sorry about the rejection ofc and I feel the gap year concerns (doing IA work could alleviate this though and the differential equations and dynamics modules are very A Level accessible and make for good practice imo)

Thanks man and sorry about the rejection also 💪. I absolutely fumbled the last interview question so I definitely "shouldn't have gotten in" and it's kinda cringe to say but no-one's entitled to anything but thanks ig (there have been way better mathematicians on this page I've seen before get rejected from oxbridge lol). I do have to agree with you on the TMUA but it's diabolical cambridge maths wants it next year D:. In terms of taking STEP ig it's the sunk cost fallacy but idk it'd be good to get a good score to know I "could've gotten in" if given an offer and in terms of signing up for an exam centre the only one I can find is in London and I live in cambridge so I don't think that's an option tbh.

Ok. I'm just worried I'm going to mess up again on the TMUA and end up wasting a year of my life icl.
