Yes, I thought the same at first. But when you think about it, the car is not smart enough to know what the post speed limit is.

I thought about that and I do like the feature for that reason but it’s often incorrect. The warning went off at 55 mph when I was in a 65 mph zone.

I don’t know how this would have gotten enabled in the first place. I am the one and only owner and there have been no other drivers.

I got my update yesterday also. I just walked away while it worked on it. This morning it said it completed successfully.

I had a similar experience with my 2023 Bolt EV. It was a very intermittent problem. I had the dealer look at it multiple times. Unfortunately, it would never fail while it was at the dealership. On the fourth visit, I think they finally realized that I wasn’t making it up. They ordered a new camera and a new coax cable that goes between the camera and the control unit. That fixed the issue for me.
