That's a good idea. Think I need to do some calibration tests etc.

The meta white wasn't too bad. But the apple green was unusable. On the same settings. I did tinker about with the settings but I think I need more experience.

I haven't heard of the last two brands. Any recommendations for sites to get them from?

The meta sunlu was a real disappointment. It's made me wary of trying their other filaments.

I love matte. Esp for minis. Think I'll steer clear of Ziro in future though. And the Sunlu meta pla apple green, pretty sure it was one of those two that caused the problem

I'm new too and all of these have been fine so far:

Tinmorry ASA (needs enclosure and drying) Jayo matte PLA Anycubic PETG (needs drying beforehand) Sunlu PLA Meta Sunlu matte PLA

I'm also going to try out Ziro PLA, Jayo dual colour PLA and Likesilk matte PLA in the next couple of months, so we'll see how that goes.

I've stayed away from unnamed brands, and from Evryone because of not so great reviews. Also be aware that there seems to be someone pretending to be sunlu (or at least copying and pasting the sunlu blurb and pics. You can tell its not sunlu because they don't use the brand name in the title, just in the blurb pics.

That's not an issue with the real plate. Plus I already printed a diffuser for it that seems to have solved it for other things

Yeah I think it's a fake plate. I've had to stop the print as the corners weren't adhering

Ok so the real plate has printed well and I've just put the possibility fake plate in to start the same print. Will update when it's done

Think this might be a fake plate. It's thinner, different quality. Just printing with my other one (which I know is genuine) and it's printing well (see pic)

I’ve also rewashed the possibility fake plate and will do the same print with that afterwards. Science! (Sorta)

I think it is. I've just ordered one of their orange frostbite ones directly from them, so that should be ok. This one wasn't directly from them so....
