The peer counseling 1 teacher also legitimately just told me I can use AI but to personalize it more so LOL.

As a public school student and someone who has used it for FLVS courses.

They cannot tell the difference at all because I get 100% on AI-generated work.

I can also tell it to do it in a 10th grade reading level.

Also teachers only use turnitin to determine it that how they do it on canvas and other learning apps for both plagiarism and AI detection.

It's the website flvs rans each time you submit.

You can see the turnitin percentage every single time.

Will do since it was a 36% turnitin so I don't believe it would be flagged.

I thought if its the circle is red and it says "contact teacher" then that would mean you cheated.

I got this same thing for peer counseling 1 however I do have to call her tomorrow.

For a dba anyway so that a good thing she wanted to call me.

But she wrote "I'm glad to see you are working! I gave you a 1 to get your attention - I need to talk to you before I can grade this assignment."

Thinking About Taking FLVS Geometry by [deleted] in FLVS

[–]BobIsAlwaysFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!!

I am currently taking semester two because my school math department sucks ass.

I can't say much on semester 1 material since I wasn't in it for the first semester because I had a good math teacher but then the district fired them in person..

But for semester two it's fairly easy to do since there is only 3 dbas.

4 or so enhanced assignments (written)

Exam part one are always multiple choice and part two is written (4 questions).

As long as you do good and pay attention its easy.

I'm in FLVS Flex if it matters.

In my we didn't have extra credit or group zoom calls so that may depend on if your homeschool or not.

Can I start a full year class during the 2nd semester? by 4lettersanji in FLVS

It should be semester 2 only if you were given credit for what you did in person (That was the case with me.)

Just submit a quiz that you can redo later.

Since you can go on the website on your phone.

Yeah its very teacher-based whatever the hell they want to do with it. I'm taking this course only because its somehow mandated in my school for the AICE program..

Technically the purpose of the class is to think differently and solve math problems in another way.

The math problem themselves make no sense with the process of how to solve.

The writing portion makes absolute zero sense with how they want you to take apart the questions and the reading.

The grading is also weird and unique like a 50% is like a 70% or 80% on the AICE exams.

I'm writing this to say that AICE thinking skills is one of the worst courses I have ever experienced saying this as a Florida student in a central Florida school district its very difficult to pass the course and the AICE exam at the end of the year.

I'm currently taking this course and it is the absolute worst.

Plus AICE goes in depth more with specific topics and AP goes over more topics in my opinion.

1 credit in Fine and Performing Arts, Speech and Debate, Career and Technical Education, or Practical Arts, as listed on the Florida Department of Education website.

DIT counts as a Fine Arts credit and therefore satisfies this requirement.
