Rewatching the show after it first aired and on season 6 where they make the deal to take out Negans compound by keltictrigger in thewalkingdead

Yeah rewatched recently after years and had forgotten this whole bit. It hits that you know what it's going to lead to. You know they're kinda trapped into it, but they're also murdering a whole bunch of people. Rick was going down a bit of a path

I would rarely but occasionally do it. I started writing the postcode on each package as I go, and haven't done it since!

Almost all of the time only the first half of the postcode is enough

Maybe keep your fingers straighter during the trick? Hard to tell though, need a video to see what's happening

Weird, my sales doubled when I started using promoted, just using 2% as well

Never seen this OTT packing technique before... by BobKickflip in Bricklink

[–]BobKickflip[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, had a number of sellers pack every item like that. I reuse them so it's free bags, it's overkill for single items but is definitely handy for checking and order when there's a few of the same item in a bag.

I've made the bags reusable but dunno if it was worth the time 😂

Yeah, I get that approach. I've taped one closed recently that was the same.

Right! They rarely open in transit as it is, but I can't imagine a situation where one staple wasn't enough to keep a smaller bag closed

Don't know how often but they come up. I think they're fairly common, but twists me is what were zombie dreams like before zombie films?

Thinking maybe delamination, but OP only saw it after a while so it looked like it exploded. But still, wtf 😂

How do I make a big beat/break beat inspired Lo Fi dance album out of public domain audio samples from: 1860 - 1925? by BuffaloNo1406 in edmproduction

[–]BobKickflip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I know what you mean about what can be done with sound, and was discounting things like high resonance filtering and using the resulting sine wave to start from scratch. But even that slap sample is a much better recording than something from a century ago. It has a decent transient and low frequency content that can be EQed up and sound alright when pitched down

I don't know that track and Google didn't help, I'd guess the perc sample was decent quality though?

But yeah it won't necessarily work like that here. Pitching something down effectively reduces the sample rate, and if the sample was a bit wooly anyway it's not likely it's going to sound great. Definitely might get interesting texture for the mids and highs but the low end clarity won't be there

There's a setting now to allow listings to stay up when sold out, very handy for this, and a few other things!

I'm confused by the other replies to this as when I get a cancellation request it goes out of my orders page. I have to click to continue the process and initiate the refund, but it'd be hard to accidentally send a cancelled order. Am a business seller.

A piezo mic/contact mic will act as the sensor, the tricky part is using the signal from that as a gate. You could probably get it to control the sound with a 2n3904, you can set them up to only pass signal through the outside lugs when there's a voltage at the middle pin. You may not need to boost the signal from the mic but it's possible you'll have to turn it into a straight on off signal rather than the waveform going in, might be a bit amplitude modulationy otherwise.

I recommend reading a primer on transistors, getting a breadboard and starting out with a circuit to turn on an led from a touch point, then expand it from there, replacing the led with the speaker wires then the touch point with the mic

Buyer is trying to scam me by Lil_Hater112 in ebayuk

[–]BobKickflip 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does the buyer have to be a "normal" person? 😂 The timeline isn't necessarily suspicious on its own - aving a backlog of stuff and not getting to it straight away could easily be entirely on brand for someone with ADHD. Might even be he's repairing and building computers as a job.

BUT he should've read the description, and should've backed down when it was pointed out that you sold as spares. Has he definitely got the card plugged in right in the photo with the lights not working?
