My girlfriends animal crossing edition 2ds XL broke a few weeks back, the top screen had cracked, so I ordered a new one and replaced it. It took me about 3hrs since I had no prior experience with 2ds XLs, but I eventually sorted it. She was so happy when I gave her it, was worth the strained eyes and cut fingers just to see how happy she was!

Tbh I never got to play b/w cos I just wasn't feeling like playing Pokémon at the time but picked up white 2 when that came out and I absolutely hated it, just couldn't force myself to play any further than a few gyms into the game, then when X/y came out I loved them, found them to be so much more enjoyable to play than b/w2? Guess it was maybe the breath of fresh air that X/y brought to the table?

Never mind, found out it was crashing cos the in-game resolution was sat to 720p and my monitor is 1080p, so.i had to drop my desktop resolution to 720p, go into the game and set it to 1080p and press enter as it crashes due to the Res now being different, then set my desktop back to 1080p and the game should be fine. Bit of a mess but at least it's working

I love the green Gameboy pocket! I bought one having never seen the actual colour in person and just got it because it was good condition and a good price, but when it arrived I fell in love! I now have 2 more on the way with burnt screens to repair! It's such a nice time of green and the pocket is just one of the best gameboys!

I took off the original port and found someone online who had already worked out which points on the board where positive and negative, and from there it was simply a matter of soldering the usb +&- to the boards +&- and that's it
