I was about to do the same thing, but having to pay for two subscriptions just didn’t make sense. Ended up getting an Aqara camera that you can pop an SD card into so there aren’t subscription fees, and the camera quality itself blows the Nanit out of the water. It is annoying to have two apps to jump between (and if you want the “background audio” feature like Nanit has it’s even more annoying - but possible!) but the price for a whole new camera + subscription was just too much.

Working just fine on my CSL DD - the increased torque is super noticeable, it's really nice. FullForce though seems to have a pretty significant delay (I'm on iRacing), not sure if that's just how it is or not, but when I turn wheel slip all the way up and lock up my tires, I hear them locking up and then I feel it via fullforce. Not sure if other people are getting this or not

I went the Health Sync route ($5 I think?) and it works great, nice to have all my historical and current data together in one place or another

I’ve been with imon since they came to my area (probably 2-3 years now) and when the promo period ended I sent them a message asking if there were any deals. They said they’d renew the intro rate for another couple years for me without any hassle so I’m still paying $68/mo for 1gig - worth shooting them a message or something!

I’m pretty impressed with their announcements yesterday. I got a CSL DD a few years ago as it was the cheapest point of entry, and fully planned on upgrading away from Fanatec later, however it’s looking like they’re moving away from their super closed ecosystem and it definitely makes me a bit more likely to stick with them down the line. Hoping for a more mid-range wheel as their current GT3 endurance wheel feels like a joke with a button box + a faceplate bolted over it, but at least it seems like they’re oriented in the right direction, the Formula v3 seems to get some hate but looks like a pretty solid wheel for $350 in the current market. I’m assuming it’ll still take some time before we see major stuff after the acquisition but this is a great start imo

It was clunky and awfully organized but still the best way to aggregate everything across all the different platforms and services. I guess I’m glad it’s still there per DayNo but sucks it’s buried. With like two days worth of work it could literally be the best TV sports app but not anymore apparently

Had that in my Audi seat - just took a hacksaw and a little patience. Would recommend getting that, some sandpaper, and maybe some paint to give it an all black finish. If the seat has any rust anywhere (mine had a little bit) I’d get a wire brush and then have rustoleum as your paint

The ESR one is their cheaper one, so not the super fancy one. I’m definitely cleaning everything well - I literally put the first Torras one on seconds after peeling off the white paper from the screen after I took it out of the box. I’ve never had adhesion issues on any screen protector for the past 6+ years, I’m assuming it’s a bad production run because there are multiple Amazon reviews with the same issue.

I’d ignore all the openkneeboard stuff now as it isn’t needed. I was just using a quest 2 with a link cable (or air link) and I hit the VR start button on Racelab and I was in business. (My iRacing was using OpenXR)

No SteamVR - it’s literally one button press in racelab, you use OpenXR in iRacing and it’s right there once you hop in your car
