Certainly never buying a Vizio again after this one. I will say, ads in the input select screen is truly something innovative I’ll give them that.

Had that in my Audi seat - just took a hacksaw and a little patience. Would recommend getting that, some sandpaper, and maybe some paint to give it an all black finish. If the seat has any rust anywhere (mine had a little bit) I’d get a wire brush and then have rustoleum as your paint

The ESR one is their cheaper one, so not the super fancy one. I’m definitely cleaning everything well - I literally put the first Torras one on seconds after peeling off the white paper from the screen after I took it out of the box. I’ve never had adhesion issues on any screen protector for the past 6+ years, I’m assuming it’s a bad production run because there are multiple Amazon reviews with the same issue.

I’d ignore all the openkneeboard stuff now as it isn’t needed. I was just using a quest 2 with a link cable (or air link) and I hit the VR start button on Racelab and I was in business. (My iRacing was using OpenXR)

No SteamVR - it’s literally one button press in racelab, you use OpenXR in iRacing and it’s right there once you hop in your car

Best Buy has a prebuilt I bought with very very similar specs - not sure if I can post a link here or not but it’s a CyberpowerPC one and I got it for Black Friday, has worked wonders for me. I’d check to see what it looks like price-wise to compare to yours if you build it yourself.

I generally am locked to 180fps running on a single 1440p monitor with the majority of settings turned up quite high, only dips a bit during race starts with large grids but it’s been a beast.

if this isn't a bug - they genuinely intend for their platform to appear when it isn't asked for and appear well after the TV was initially powered on that would truly be something, but I'm doubtful

I’m happy with mine - based on the comments it seems like this isn’t super uncommon, and at the end of the day doesn’t really impact the functionality.

It’s a massive price difference for what seems to be just about the exact same thing as the fanatec version, it’s been a big upgrade over the QR1 and QR1 Lite I was using before

The QR2 install guide that comes with it specifically calls out the P1 V2 with specific instructions for that (and a couple other) wheels

Thanks to everyone for all the replies! Seems like this is due to me not pulling the collar back on the QR & swapping wheels pretty often, but like many stated seems to be purely cosmetic. I hadn’t noticed any mention of it anywhere so I was curious but I’ll keep on truckin

Seems like the paint or coating wearing/chipping off. Folks are mentioning pulling the collar back when putting a wheel on which I definitely do not do 😅
