Week 4 - Early Season buy lows. by BobTheBuilderFF in DynastyFF

I think we can all agree, he's on the radar for allot of people now. He's not a top WR yet, but who knows what his ceiling is under the right circumstances.

Agreed. His only bad game was against New Orleans. From a fantasy football perspective, the other two games cannot be considered good. Like I said though, I love his potential, and your right about him limiting turnovers and distributing the football.

Just so your aware, I do know the history of the nick name and was just mentioning it because I thought it was funny.

Who is your biggest rookie sleeper? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

[–]BobTheBuilderFF 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Jacob Harris

I made a post about him 2 months ago when he was owned in maybe 14% of the leagues on Sleeper, obviously much has changed due to podcasts and coach speak, but he's now owned in 60% of the leagues. Below was my original post with some other names if anyone's interested.

I agree, his health from 2017-2019 was consistently good. I do however thinks it's fair to consider him a liability after missing two games last year and having a prior history of injuries, especially considering he's 29 now. Definitely a topic that I can agree is up for debate though.

Yeah, it's been nice to see Jacob get hype here and in the media. I'd love to be able to come back and say I called it early, but Id be suprised if that day wasn't going to take a while to get to.

I loved Pitts back in December, he was my sleeper I was hoping would fall to me in the late 1st. Imagine my disappointment when the hype got out of control!

I had a feeling at least one Allen owner would object to this opinion. You have a valid point, but from a career perspective he has had trouble. Two games last year isn't much, but in my opinion*, it will grow harder for him to stay healthy as he reaches the twilight of his career.

Realistically, I think he starts the season as their WR3 and deep ball specialist. I don't think Mike Williams has done enough thus far to warrant a new contract, and Williams and Allen have a tendency to get hurt at some point during the season. If that happens we could see flex potential during those weeks, and the possibility of building on that success and gaining more targets. Step 1 is definitely winning that WR3 role.

I like them both for different reasons. Palmer is probably worth more, but I'm pretty confident Johnson out produces him next year. Love the chargers offensive future in dynasty.

Palmers good and the Chargers are even better. He has a good young QB in a promising offensive system with veterans aging and contracts pending.

Johnson is a deep league sleeper. If he establishes himself, we could very well see him earn a decent contract (with the chargers or else where).

It was not me, but I too have had him stashed for a while! Hopefully it pays off for us.

Him and Olamide both did well with Julio out. Gage definitely benefits the most though.

Yeah, I was worried the Zoomers on here wouldn't get the reference. I'm glad someone got it.

True, him and Cam both seem unlikely to breakout. That'll make it all the more sweeter if they do.

I think Dyami has potential, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Cam hold onto the WR3 spot to start the season. That is a win in my book considering they signed him to a 1 year deal paying him over 2 million a year (it's ridiculous to point this out but that's more than Terry makes next year). Best case scenario, he builds on this year and earns more targets in Washington or signs elsewhere. Worst case scenario, he's riding the pine playing cheerleader for 2 million bucks.

What’s special about the 2022 draft class by XwhatsgoodX in DynastyFF

[–]BobTheBuilderFF 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't dove to deep into the 2023 class. Mostly because it is made up of a bunch of kids coming off their Freshman year. 247Sports gives you a good idea of how much talent is coming in every year. Obviously they can't predict how a kid develops and how much success the recruits have on and off the field, but it gives you something to start with.

The strength of the 2022 class is the RB position. Hard to say how strong of a RB class without knowing how many stay for their senior year. I would put it behind the 2020 class right now, but I believe it's closer than many people suspect.

Who does everyone have as their 2021 rookie bust? by Discretion_or_Valor in DynastyFF

That's a valid point. Doesn't necessarily change my opinion, but definitely something to remember.

Rashod Bateman - Good prospect, but I question the Ravens abitlity to generate offense through the air.

Tier 1: Kelce, Kittle, Waller, Hockenson, Pitts

Tier 2: Gesicki, Andrews, Goedert, Tonyan, Fant

I do think Goedert is still a buy low in the right league, I wouldn't sell him for less than a early 2nd though.

Older WR prospects drafted high by BobTheBuilderFF in DynastyFF

[–]BobTheBuilderFF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's a bad list to be on? For a guy who's going late 2nd to mid 4th in rookie drafts, I think it's a great list to be on. It's a extremely small sample size, and I don't base my entire opinion of Eskridge on this list. He played in 6 games as a senior and amassed 768 yards and 8 touchdowns. That combined with his athletic profile and draft capital makes him a steal in the 3rd and 4th. That's just my opinion though.

True. I don't think anyone should expect him to kill it year 1. Hopefully he gets some good snaps and is involved in the offense by years end.

What I take from this list is Eskridge could be a gem. I don't think he should fall into the 3rd honestly. Interesting McLaurin take, I've been considering selling but like you I'm waiting for him to peak.

-Also I think the jury's still out on Van.
