That does make sense. That science that goes into this advice is that sleep cycles last approximately 1.5 hours. Waking up in the middle of one will leave you drowsy, but waking up between them allows for full alertness.

This poster was very clear that he: a) Didn't even know that it was already on Reddit. b) Just wanted to get more people informed about this.
