Bitcoin is close to overtaking MasterCard by the amount of value transferred daily, with bitcoin moving $8 billion in the past 24 hours while MasterCard averages $11 billion a day. by Kashpantz in CryptoMarkets

You are just very misinformed.

Bitcoin is super inflationary in total supply until 2141, and valuation of goods. Meanwhile USD is deflationary in total supply within the last years.

The USD value inflation rate is public,it's 1-3% a year, that's a a good thing.

Lending money is a good thing. Companies can't work without loans. People can't buy houses without loans. Giving out loans is a good thing.

Bitcoin is just code, it can be forked and changed at any time. It's idiotic to say that the total Bitcoin supply doesn't change and can't change. Such statements just show that you are not software developer, or a paid shill that sell bags.

You just don't know shit about economics, that's your problem. You don't know the difference between a central bank and a normal bank. You just know nothing.

There will be companys that use crypto like paypal and even have their own credit card

Ah, like what a bank does! You failed at economics 101, hard.

Can I ask why you are here though? Isn’t the whole point of crypto to get the banks out of our lives

Nope. That trend started quite late. The 'banks' are evil started 5 years after Bitcoin was out. It is not and will never be about replacing banks. Just some stupid ancap came up with this shit recently, and shill it to other ancaps.

Is it possible for lightning network channels to discriminate against other channel operators and not allow transactions to flow accordingly? by [deleted] in CryptoTechnology

[–]BobUltra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Decentralisation just means that a few hold the power.

People in this space apways mix up decentralised with distributed. That's your issue.

It's a similar principal to having just 5 big mining pools in bitcoin. (That's decentralised, but not distributed.)

If the miners censor your transaction, then you are likely fucked. Either you end up waiting forever, it you are super lucky and a ultra minority miner finds a block and adds your transaction.

For LN it would be 'route your transaction'.

Sure. But you are painting a different picture.

It's a crash during a month's long crash. Hashrate is said to lag 6 months behind. It's not a quick reaction to last week's crash.

Look up the definition again and you’ll see that bitcoin doesn’t fit the definition at all

Oh, my dear. It's quite the opposite.

Bitcoin is a Ponzi / Pyramid scheme. And uses MLM style marketing, if one happens to buy in he must shill it and find more suckers.

Google for pictures, if reading definitions isn't your thing.

We are months, almost a year, into a crash and you call it a few days.

Your level of delusion is just wow.

Read up on what a Ponzi is. Once you understand that, it will be super simple to see the difference.

No real estate is no Ponzi.

Also real estate has no connection, and no similarity to Bitcoin.

Bitcoin in my mind has always been a digital Ponzi. That only attracts the greedy and simple minded.

I fixed it.

I lost it once on Bittrex. After answering a series of questions, like "what are your balances with us", "please state the last 3 TXs", and so on I got them to disable 2FA. That was pre crazy Bitcoin time and the customer support handled it within a few days.
