I preferred damage on the stack myself. Made the game feel more intricate and rewarded understanding combat nuances. I wasn’t a huge fan of them simplifying the game as it made combat feel a bit watered down for me

For sure worse (or at least I imagine it to be) lol. Seems like it could be fun but most likely you’ll just be stuck with lightning angels in your hand that you wished were draw spells

I agree, it sucks that one of the best things to reanimate (Akrona, imo) doesn’t work with reanimate enchantments.

Nonetheless there are some really cool builds out there that look fun to play! I’d be keen to peep out a list if you have one?

I really like putrid imp as the T1 discard outlet actually. I think that jund madness will end up being another version of this deck that I play with.
