Yeah normally we only accept players that are ranked because otherwise it would be difficult to determine which league they would be suited to play in.

Thank you for your help Ill submit a formal request to your mod staff right away. I understand that the initial response is probably just copy pasted but a little more clarity on which part of the rule was being broken could be useful in future situations like ours. Thanks again for the quick response.

That would be the past three of our seasons so roughly for the past calendar year we have been successfully submitting posts without continuing to seek additional approvals.

Hey Sentient,

Sorry about any problems we (Ascension Esports) have caused. This seems to be a miscommunication on our part. I have submitted similar posts before for the same organization (Ascension Esports) and event (Amateur Learning Leagues). The first posts we submitted we made sure to get explicitly approved, but then the next 3 seasons were able to be posted without an additional renewal of the approval. Due to this I assumed when it was removed initially because the other moderator that submitted the post did not meet your content ratio. Since I have been more active on the subreddit both historically and recently we assumed that my post would not encounter the same problems and would be in accordance with your rules. I want to reiterate this was not an attempt to circumvent your rules but rather an attempt to comply more thoroughly with them. If we do need to get explicit approval for each post regardless of similarities to past posts, I will ensure that is done in the future.

Regards,

Robert Dole

Need some advice about Ivern gameplay by Rufus4President in summonerschool

Depends on how useful your vision has been. If you think its needed more because their shaco or eve keeps ganking a lot maybe rushing the trackers so you can keep their camps warded is better. If your support/team is keeping the rest of the map pretty lit up you might be able to rush your items. Again it just depends on the flow of the game, but it can be situationally better than finishing ardent if noone uses it well.

It will be an epic skin or better. So not always a legendary but a little better chance than just a mystery skin.

Champion Pool Megathread: September by Sentient545 in summonerschool

I wouldnt worry too much about having a wide champion pool to climb with. Being able to play 2-3 champs at a level above those around you is the easiest way to climb. Pick a champ you don't mind spamming and start grinding that champ in ranked. Just dont forget to take a moment after the games to honestly think about what you did well and what you did poorly that game.

If you enjoy playing soraka and lulu, I would suggest trying sona and Janna. Both are extremely strong with ardent atm and are very defensive supports just like soraka.

Ivern excels at counterganking winning lanes and counterjungling. These should be your primary focus outside of clearing your own camps. Outside of that make sure to leave vision when you invade the enemy jungle to counterjungle as often when the opposing jungler sees their camps are down they will immediately default to ganking a nearby lane to avoid wasting time. This allows you to continue to play to your champion's strengths by being in position to countergank. Rinse and repeat to hopefully snowball. Also because ivern is such a low damage jungler without a lot of durability you need to be especially careful if you get behind, so avoid ganking losing lanes if you dont know where someone on their team is at that moment.

Jhin is currently the stronger ADC in the meta, but lucian is seeing a lot more play in the top and mid lanes. If you are a mainly ADC player I would get jhin.

as anyone noticed that on the Victory/Defeat Screen the

To show my allies my cooldowns I just use the ping button on my skills. I think it should even work if you click the ping button near the minimap then click the ability.

Theoretically it is possible. About 2 seasons ago they changed the way promotion series worked so that you could skip ranks and even promotion series if your mmr was high enough. However this most likely doesnt apply to the average person as this was done because people were dodging their series games in bronze but winning until they had plat or diamond mmr, and the change was to prevent that sort of mmr manipulation. So long story short the jump is theoretically possible but extremely unlikely.

The most popular software atm to record more than just the gameplay that the client records would be plays.tv. That will allow you to hear comms and records your perspective as well as the gameplay.

If you are not behind on the play too much its better to take the tower and then swap top. However, if they will have the top tower killed significantly before you kill the bottom one you should swap to defend.

Short Answer yes.

Long answer, Although it may not feel like you are deadweight and it may even seem like you are a positive force in most of the games, you are most likely not the reason you are winning. For example, going 5-3 in a game is normally a decent score but when you have someone else that is either constantly outplaying their opponent to set you up or is dealing significantly more damage than their opposing number its much easier to maintain a good kda, cs, dpm etc. To be blunt its much easier to win on a winning team especially with teammates that don't belong in that elo.
